Indeed. I had apparently set my laptop to the "Mountain" timezone when I got Windows 7 set up. One thing lead to another, and BOOM. NL was giving me an even wronger time because my DST settings were also off.

Jane Austen is the least romantic author I have read. I prefer heroic romances where the characters aren't dimwits.

Her writing style has a huge problem. She doesn't use enough periods. Her sentences go on much longer than they should.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

I can never disagree with anything involving HEROICS. Though, if I was going to read a romance novel then it would have to be ridiculously off-the-charts heroic as fuck.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

I can't say I only like heroic romance though. One of my favorite romance's is Before Sunrise, and that is just a couple walking around in Vienna.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

at least jane austen's books aren't about a gay sparkly vampire who creeps on a girl that's almost 100 years younger than him and they fall in love.
i mean, who would ever write a book like that ?
....wait....

i think jane austen's books are decent . some of them are kind of boring though, imo.
