I wouldn't want something like hardcore or anything. I'm not sure what I'd get, but it'd probably be small and inconspicuous, but with a lot of meaning.

Unlike my sister, who has six tattoos with another on the way, none of which mean jackshit. And they're ugly. -_-;

My mom has a nice one on her chest though. Kanji for "Harmony" or something like that. My sister followed through with the Kanji for "Love" on the inside of her wrist. I almost feel obligated to do the same just because it's suddenly become like some kind of twisted family thing. I think a few of my aunts and uncles have shit like that too.

I'm not too keen on it though...

Kanji tattoos are possibly the dumbest trend ever, but at least you'd know what it meant, unlike 90% of the people who get them.

Exactly why I wouldn't want one LOL. But eh, I've never been actually all that interested in getting tattoos. I have thought about getting a tongue piercing before though.
