Did you not read the "for the underaged" part? EphemeralStar is 17, she legally can't drink. Also, the clear pop remedy is sips only, otherwise you'll end up vomiting. I know this from experience.

I am drunk but not blind. Are you really suggesting, that a cute 17 yeat old female can't get some 21 year old bloke to buy her some schnaps? I mean even my little sister can get schnaps from 90% of the guys, because well, she is female. And one little sip from a glass will not send her to prison, goddamn. Sometimes I really wonder why America and Canada have such strict "drinking laws". I think most of the teenager have smoked pot before even tasting alcohol...

As a fan of both, I know that pot is > alcohol. Far less stds and ruined friendships/relationships. lawl. But yeah, cut the drunk dude some slack.

Still, pot is illegal (I don't want to go into a discussion about the legalization) and alcohol is legal. Is drinking with, say 19, harder punished than smoking pot? Please clearify that for me.
I just smoked pot once, and on the next day, I had to vomit 3 times in a row. That is why I stay with alcohol, and occasioanlly a fine cigar.

Also, Jaxon, you are European, do you smoke more pot than you drink alcohol?

I don't really smoke it at all, and I drink about average. I have nothing against it, and honestly, I think it's less dangerous than alcohol, by far. I've never seen anyone get beaten up by a bunch of potheads. I don't know the statistics, can't be bothered to find them, but I'm pretty damn sure alcohol related injuries and deaths far outweight those from marijuana.

I never said she couldn't get alcohol. I said she "legally" can't drink. I don't know what she's like beyond sandwiches. I don't know what her family is like. I can't comment on her ability to score some alcohol. I'm just stating a legal fact.

Another legal fact, the legal drinking age was raised from 18 to 21 in the late 70s (my mom voted against it and she was born in 1960). Not sure why it was raised, but it didn't really affect me personally as I've been drinking since I was 14.

I agree, but if you have reached a certain experiance with alcohol, you know how far you can go without a) vomiting on some chick b) being laughed at c) be aggressive and start a brawl.

I know enough people who smoke pot every fucking day, and believe me, they are not capable of any serious thought, but I know the same is true for people who drink every single day. Pot is not as dangerous as alcohol or tabaco, but it is dangerous.

And our local here-and-gone marijuana maestro (DA) is strong evidence that marijuana doesn't necessarily affect your brain. Certainly marijuana does affect the brain chemistry of every user in some way, but there is no single result.
