@Bold - Nope. People love to meddle into other peoples business just as like they like others to see them 'grieving', so that they can just talk about that in their mostly empty lives. He will be forgotten quite fast just like most others celebs.

The man lived like a jackass and died like one. I have watched Jackass since I was a kid basically, and the whole cast really grew on me, and when I read that that Dunn died, I was like "eh, too bad man". Dunno why such things bother you. Who gives a fuck, let them 'weep' like morons, and let me honor him with my RIP if I want to.

@ RNB/Shirke/anyone else: This guy was a celebrity? Seriously - without Jackass as a group, he remains a nobody. This is the equivalent of someone like Arnold Schwarzenegger losing a hand. Unfortunate and nearly funny.

I think you shouldn't be upset that media and the public are going to do the whole "RIP" type thing but rather that they are going to do it with such a low standing "celebrity". Next we'll be lamenting that guy who you keep recognizing in every third commercial.

Just watched Game of Thrones. Shit that was epic. But holy crap, we have to wait for almost a year. Thought Robb's crowning would be more epic, but still, the move of the Watch and Daenerys made up for it. Thoroughly enjoyed.

she's such a nice lady, i mean, i don't mind washing her windows for her, but she always feels like she has to give me some money or take me out whenever i do stuff for her...
i used to fight her about it, but once she started putting the money in my purse while i was doing yard work i just stopped fighting it.

Yeah, I watched the finale yesterday. That show is really awesome. I also downloaded the pdf files for the first three books. I may go ahead and skip to book 2 since I hear the series was pretty damn faithful, like even word for word at some points. But then, I realize there's still a year to wait for season 2 so reading the first would grant me a slightly smaller waiting period. lol.

Definite favs are Jon Snow (awesome personality; damn fine actor}, Dany (same) and lil Bran and Arya. Also like Catelyn and the Imp. The wolves are all awesome, that's the reason my sister told me to watch the series lol. I didn't even realize what I was watching until the end of the first episode. Now I see that you guys have been chatting about it in this thread and I wish I had been visiting a bit more often. We should make a thread in OH or something. <3

Don't do it. A) They are well written and easily read and B) there is more in it that improve on what you saw in the show, because as always there is no way to put an entire book into a series. Like the direwolves - more prominent in the books, as they are often always at the Stark children's side rather than in a scene that they can't write without the wolf. Bran also makes a lot more sense in the book than in the show.

I didn't mind Ned (found him predictable, also saw Joffery's psycho ass idea of mercy coming miles away) and I really like Drogo (especially because of his actor & amazingly well done speeches), I was sad & pissed that he's out of the game... favorite pairing, already fucked. ahaha. 8] And I think Jon would make a better King of the North than Robb. Robb is alright though, but doesn't intrigue me. Actor is hawt. Jamie and Cersei suck ass so far. lol. King Robert was pretty funny, but definitely a douche... lol... Red haired Stark girl is typical female for the setting thus far... hope she grows some tits in the future. Oh, that dude who got his fingers bit off by Grey Wind and then started laughing is pretty damn cool.

Yeah, Greatjon Umber. Great character. Uh, not sure how you write all these names though, I've read the book in Serbian, and oh god how I wish you guys could do the same. One of rare wonders for me is how some books (this one being the prime example because of the language of simple folk) sound better then the originals.

Edit: And King Robert is a legend. One of the funniest characters this book has seen. I remember there was a line where it said that something happened to Tywin Lannister which embarrassed him, at which Robert laughed so hard that wine poured down his nose and he almost got a stroke. I remember laughed a good 5 minutes just to that.

Tyrion also gave me lots of good laughs.
