A friend of mine has also recently started listening to The Streetz, so it's especially bad when we're both trying to figure out which songs are which and just making it worse for each other because we're actually thinking of different songs.

He does have some kick-ass whistling skills though, so that makes some songs easier for me to figure out.

If I listen to the radio, it is only the oldies station. Beatles songs are played pretty frequently, and they play some Motown classics. Still, the radio is boring.

I usually agree, but the car I have right now sucks and the radio is the only option that works consistently. For example, every once in a while the CD Eject button will short out into every other button, so if you try to skip a song the CD will eject and you'll have to listen to it all over again from track one.

My brother is such a hipster he only releases his music as vinyl and only occasionally online to download.

VINYL IS WHERE IT'S AT BITCH! Really, vinyl is the best way to release music. A pesky little CD with a pesky little CD case really doesn't do justice. Plus, vinyl sounds better. Trust me, if you can't hear the difference, all of us hipsters can.

Plus, I can go to the flea market and get tons of vinyl albums cheap. With CDs, you have to really worry about scratches and bootlegs.

Plus, Plus, you have to flip the album halfway through, forcing you to be more involved in the listening experience.

I just like vinyl better as a medium than CDs. CDs feel so cheap, and so homogenous in that any data could be written on any CD. Vinyl just feels like, that disc was made for that record. I dunno. Since my music listening is predominantly digital, the only physical medium I feel worth collecting is vinyl, since I won't listen to it often, and when I do, it'll be (arguably) much better sound quality. I only have a few 7"s that I've bought from bands themselves at gigs, but at some point I'm going to start buying all of my favourite/important albums on vinyl, along with a player.

Psh I use digital vinyl.

I know it makes no difference in quality but it lasts longer than normal cds >_> damn hipsters

That one will randomly eject for no apparent reason, whether there is an actual tape in it or a cassette adapter for my MP3 player.
