Though Stephen Colbert is having another try in South Carolina and I'm really hoping it goes well for him, since he's too late to get on the ballot and Herman Cain is still on it despite him dropping out, he's telling his audience to vote for Cain as a sign that they want Stephen. I would love to see Stephen Colbert go up against Obama.

It's not too late for Colbert to get on the ballot. Anyone can write-in a nominee when the election comes, even if they aren't on the ballot. I can write "Flying Spaghetti Monster" instead of the normal choices if I so chose.

Universal Music is just all butt hurt over a bunch of it's artists appearing in that Megaupload promo video. Pretty much everyone knows what Megaupload is. It's not like some music Guru just discovered this shit yesterday. It just that these artists came out and brazenly supported the site. It's kinda like throwing sand in somebodies eyes. Of course they're cry like a bitch about it, even it they probably had it coming.

If Colbert had a real shot, he'd never do it. Why would he want to work that hard? The whole thing is satire of the process (between his superpac and passing it on to Stewart). Brilliant satire, but there won't be a sustained run.

And the way things are going with piracy, SOPA/PIPA and whatnot, we're just going to have to end up turning to the true land of blackmarkets: Eastern Europe and China. I know a flowershop that sells "movies" so long as you don't mind Chinese subtitles.

EDIT: Agree with Artan. If downloading truly becomes illegal/impossible/unfeasible, I'll probably just survive off of what I have now unless something comes up that I really want to buy.
