Maybe but I doubt it. Kishi typically uses heavy foreshadowing before killing off a good character as was the case with Chiyo, J-Man, Asuma ... Kakashi's death will / would have happend out of nowhere with absolutely no foreshadowing. And if he wastes Kakashi's death on a dud Fat Arse like Choji then that should be a crime within itself especially with Choji's dad living. With everyone in the manga powering up and with the introduction of stronger atagonist Kakashi needs an increase in power himself. This is what Kishi is setting him up for. But in the end this is only my opinion.

Its not for nothing, he is doing it to keep the masses of the audience entangled in this debate. He hasn't shown anything to say that Kakashi is alive, only more remarks as to Kakashi's death. Kakashi said it himself he would have no chakra left after using his MS again, and that he would die. That is supported by the basics of what it takes to be alive in the manga, CHakra which is composed of Spiritual energy and physical stamina. When you run out of chakra, that means you have no more spiritual energy and your stamina is at 0 - thus you die. Kishi has kept showing panels of Kakashi laying there the same as he has shown other pointless panels of people laying there dead at the hands of Pain in Konoha. THe only reason people want Kakashi to be alive is that everyone knows him from the audience. Kishi is leaving this as a cliff hanger because he doesn't want to give away the point yet but really, he keeps hinting at it with everyone else - Tsunade's slugs sensing no chakra from him and her being pissed, Naruto not sensing it and to top it off, that would soo depreciate Jiraiya's willing himself back to life moment. The only difference is that with jiraiya's death, he still had chakra and was able to will himself back to life... but Kakashi has no chakra and can't get chakra from a spirit. The even of dying and meeting up with the loved ones Kakashi lost throughout his life would be characterized as a dark blue event. Everyone going on he is alive is only point at empty panels of him lying there when really there is nothing proving he is alive. And that his father is going to give him something to comeback.....if kishi does that, it would be a bigger crap plot save than when Sasuke did about 8 different jutsus in the blink of an eye with little chakra left to get away from Deidara's explosion.

yes, kakashi reviving would be plot no jutsu, but mastering sage mode better than jiraiya in a week is also plot no jutsu, as well as sasuke escaping deidaras explosions by - chidoring himself, summoning manda ,hypnotizing it and escaping by reverse summoning. its kishis story and he will give plot no jutsu to main characters.
in other words, main characters are protected in a story and can do things that are not realistic.

I could careless if Kakashi lives or dies. I'm just saying that it doesn't fit into the flow of how Kishi has killed people off in the past. People keep saying his chakra's gone. Well he wouldn't be the first person to come back from being dead (manga or real life).

Since Sasuke failed in capturing Hachibi, them three are going to where he is.
Naruto trying to follow them , but they escape.

Why would Naruto need to make a ton of Shadow Clones? That would use up to much chakra. No. He'll make 12 at the most.

Maybe Sakura will try to help Naruto and he'll say:

"Sakura-chan, I'm greatful that you want to help. But this is one battle I have to fight on my own. Focus on helping the rest of the village for now. I'll handle this freak."

We won't be seeing Sasuke again for a while. Not 'til chapter 434 AT LEAST!

Back to Naruto, that spoiler Mystik just posted seems a bit too fanfic.

ANd to the other post by Law & Order, Chiyo's death wasn't fully foreshadowed. There weren't flashbacks as much as there was her just talking about all the mistakes she made in her life. We all know Kakashi's regrets, so there isn't a need to have an exact moment in this arc of Kakashi reflecting on his life of all his regrets to foreshadow his upcoming death. We know his past better than the others that have died in the series so far. So there wasn't a need to have that in this arc. We have all the info from part one, from the Kakashi gaiden, and then some more from part two after the time skip. What else is there to learn of Kakashi's regrets in his life. he only regrets loosing the people he loved, and we know all three of them. So Kakashi's death isn't really out of the blue, but is more unexpected for people because the reader is use to learning about the person's past a bit before they die. Again though, that is only because we were never given info on their past before that arc and their death, so Kishi gives a taste of it to the reader. With Kakashi though, we know it all (atleast all that Kishi wanted to reveal about kakashi).

Anyhow forlong that maybe true but kishi sometimes have this thing to where he likes to interrupt fights so you never know.

Very true. He did just give us a chapter of plent of action and little talking. By his formula, it would be about time that he interrupts the fight and slows it down. So we could get a scene or two of someone else this upcoming chapter.

Also, TSO mentioned earlier about Sakura. Kishi did say something would happen to her.... I'm betting since Kishi doesn't know how to do a decent chick fight anymore or even female character development, he probably just meant she would be crying out for Naruto to save the village and be stuck in the hospital healing like he had her doing in this attack. Sad. I mean she killed that centipede summoning in a hit and then Iruka says go heal people in the hospital when not him nor the other shinobi he was traveling with could do anything. What heck Kishi! We need to see some female ninjas kicking ass too!
