Agreed but the question then would be how quickly it dissipates once leaving the users hand. I hate to use hurricanes as an example but I will. Let me reitterate that I am just playing devils advocate and saying that it wouldn't be that far fetched to throw the FRS.

A great example with the hurricane, and I can definetly understand the logic there. However, I see the Rasengan as more of a vacuum cleaner than a hurricane if you'll follow me; and I'll explain why.

A hurricane like you said can move from sea to land and still maintain its strength and form, even after loosing its main power supply; however, it is fueled also by its own intensity, momentum, and the air around it.

The Rasengan is like a Vacuum where the vacuum can run and run as long as its connected to a power supply; as soon as that connection is lost with the power supply, the vacuum shuts off.

There's a limited number of individuals who will be in the position to fight Danzou and co., presuming Naruto is too exhausted after fighting Pain. It's most likely to be Team Gai, Hinata, or Sakura against Root - and out of them Sakura would seem the best choice for the main action, so I think we just have to hope.

Don't think Yamato is a traitor. Sia is still up in the air. But, Sakura can and will take whoever Danzou sends her way.

I think naruto will get captured and everyone trys to save him, but fails. Sasuke will be confronted by the Raikage and sasuke will lose and be forced to retreat without the 8-tails. Without the 8-tails naruto will be locked up in a cell or something until the 8-tails is captured. The 8-tails recovers and decides to leave the village to ensure no harm comes to his village. Naruto trys to escape but is too hungry to attempt it. Akatsuki attack the 8-tails village forcing him to come back and protect his village. Akatsuki captures the 8-tails when he promises to surrender if they leave the village alone. They agree and leave the village. Naruto is fed by akatsuki so he wont die before they take his power. The 8-tails reaches the place where they lock him up next to naruto until everyone is ready to start the process of taking his power in the morning. Naruto and the 8-tails become friends and decide to break out when the time is right. While preparing to escape they hear an explosion and think its the others trying to save him. Sasuke heads towards the akatsuki lair to stop them from taking narutos life when he notices whats about to happen. Naruto decides to break out anyways and help his friends if it really is them, otherwise escape.

im thinkin naruto will go dirctly at the deva path with a destaction clone and then take out the path that protects the deva path with his new jutsu

Kakashi's real face was in the third data book. No ellaboration on how he got the MS. I just...don't care anymore.

That was not his real face.lol At the end the hounds said he really did not look like that, while Naruto walks off thinking that he knows kakashi's face. But we are suppose to be finding out how Kakashi obtained the Mangekyou Sharingan though.

I. Prediction of how story unfolds in new chapter.
II. Thoughts on Danzou's character.
III. Follow-up Questions.

I. Well the title of the new chapter is "Melee." As such, I'm guessing there are going to be a lot of characters involved in fights, and not just Naruto and the 4 bodies of Pain. To keep the main fight exciting, Kishi will prolong it by -- like a boxing event -- introducing some side/under-card fights (surprising us and turning up the suspense and action). What may happen is that Naruto does Kage Bunshin and one or two frames show Pain getting ready for Naruto's attack. Then the action cuts to the surprise side fights, which use up most of the chapter. At the very end of this chapter, we get what we're promised and see Naruto unleash his new move, only to have the chapter end right there. We'll have to wait until Chapter 433 to see the results of Naruto's new move.

II. Danzou wants the political goodwill of the Konoha people, and as such has not attempted a violent coup, allowing Tsunade or Naruto to be in harm's way. As Danzou is more a political animal, he may try to help Naruto fight Pain, as well as save Konoha from further destruction. If Danzou beats Pain then it'll give him that much more chance at being Hokage. I'm guessing that from a character development stand-point, it's easier to just let Danzou and Roots disappear from the storyline for now, as Kishi has other characters already en route to Konoha ready to fight -- that is, there is already a huge pipeline of fights streamed our way. Besides, Danzou has already said he's going to stay passive until the fighting ends in Konoha. The bottom line is that Danzou will not himself order an attack on Konoha villagers, including Tsunade or Naruto. (If anything I think soon the fighting will be between Orochimaru vs. the 3rd -- oops, I mean, Sasuke vs. Danzou).

III. FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS:
Will Nagato try to save face and personally come to Konoha with Konan? Is he en route already?

Will Danzou finally understand the Will of Fire and die saving Naruto in the end? Or will Sasuke and Danzou have an epic battle along the lines of -- ahem -- Orochimaru vs. 3rd Hokage? See any similarities anyone?

Sasuke and the Lightning village elites are en route to Konoha, and so is Team Gai, and possibly even more people. Anyone else think that the action won't end for another 8 chapters? =)

Anyone else think that Hell Pain (being the opposite of God Pain) has an ultimate jutsu? Or do you think it's more likely Hell and God pain will do a combo along the lines of Demi-God pain and God pain vs. Kakashi?

If Pain is so smart, he would know Naruto's not very good against Genjutsu -- and being able to use all types of jutsu, anyone think Pain will trap Naruto in a Genjutsu?

Doubtful. Danzou is a militaristic leader, and hopes that Konoha's energies are favored to the mercanary type regime. He wanted to take Sarutobi's place and make the village more of a milita. True, Danzou wants the well being of the village to remain stable, but he realizes that there must be casulties. Tsunade has prevented total destruction, that's all that he really cares about. Right now he is underground, waiting for things to cool off.

Well he's near Konoha. If he needs to come out, he will. If the Six realms some how fall to Naruto, Nagato would have no choice but to approach Naruto and attempt to capture him using the powers of his Rinnegan (no more realms maybe). But that's just speculation.

Well Danzou is not that kind of guy. He's too much of a brute to sacrifice himself for a tool of war (Naruto). If Naruto appears to be falling to Pain, I'm sure Danzou wouldn't let that happen, as he believes the 9 tails can not fall to Akatsuki under anymeans, so there are the Root at his disposal. So its possible he plans on using him to some extent. However think Danzou underestimates Naruto greatly.

As of Danzou's strength, well we really don't know. He could just be a powerful political figure with high status. He has the respect and honor of Roots serving under him. He does not need to be strong, he has a secret organization on his side. His power lies in his numbers and the amount of control he has over them. If Sasuke even comes close to Danzou, than he'd be facing his personal guards as well as the entire army under his control.

Bringing realms back from the dead and ripping out the insides of opponents in which they grab is power enough.

That's assuming Pain has genjutsu. And Pain best not underestimate anyone anymore. He thought Jiraiya was poor with genjutsu, and well we know how that went down. Naruto probably can't use genjutsu all that well, but he has two of the strongest toads who are experienced in genjutsu. Pain knows not to underestimate.
