BK - The only reason you even knew about what they said in that social group is because Mibs was unprofessional by looking in there and then inviting you and bal to the group. That's there way of using the ignore option that you guys love to preach about so much. How come when you guys talk shit about someone else, and they complain about it, you tell them to use the ignore option, but when they make a private social group, you guys rally and start trolling them.

As I said, you wouldn't even know that they had said anything about you if someone with the power to look hadn't told you....Now doesn't that sound familiar. Yea, it may not be exactly like what happened with NR17 and the PM reading, but if these groups are private, then they should stay that way.

Mibs - Yeah, you do a great job at modding, but I agree with Kat, when it comes to the members who are apart of FTP, your a bit lacking. I'm not threatening you, just reminding you: I can always find someone else who can do the job just as well as you but without the favoritism. Also, I'm sure you know, but yes I do know how they got the invites, everything a mod does is logged.

Kat - I think the forum will live as long as the anime is making new episodes, but that doesn't mean the forum will get any better than it is now. I know exactly where your coming from about this place becoming a cesspool in the last year or so. I've noticed it and have become a lot less active as well. I wont way that I've seriously considered leaving, because I haven't, although the thought has crossed my mind. I'm only staying because I believe things would only get worse if I did leave, or at the very least wouldn't get any better. Nothing that we do can help this place get better unless the members themselves want it to get better. Although completely replacing the mod team may be an idea that should be considered.

I can quote all the past incidents I've never started anything with these guys. They mentioned me or some shit, maybe except for that Jiraiya FC thing. I guess I can kinda take the blame for going in there first. BUT remember with the Jiraiya FC I said a few things about Jiraiya NOT THEM, they retaliated personally attacking me and just cause they couldn't handle me when I retaliated they reported it. With this new social group thing, you can view every group regardless of wether you are a part of it or not. Jaxon came across it posted it and then I saw that some kid said let's take down BK. Did I complain no, I just said hai guyz to them after some MGS infiltration shit. Then I left it since some kid PM'd me saying let's be friends. SO what I'm saying is, when they start shit we take it like men and just give them shit back. They report it and we get chargrilled up the ass for it. Tell me they said let's take BK down. The fuck am I suppose to report and say, oh some kids are "planning something". Ban them...oh wait you wouldn't have done that because apparantly I attacked them first. But even then they were "planning something" kinda like that incident with NR17 you spoke of in that second paragraph, weren't they "planning something" so they were demodded and banned. I don't wanna start any arguements, but I'm saying don't start pinning something on me as if I went and looked for something. If someone mentions me of course I'm gonna retaliate I ain't no pussy.

Well the NR17 thing should have never been handled that way, as you said, they were "planning" something, which was an obvious joke. They never took action, and if/when they did, thats when action should have been taken. Same for this situation. You just like starting shit, period. All they said was, "lets take down BK". They hadn't done anything yet, for all we know they were just some scared little crybabies that are all just talk and no action. What I'm saying is, don't get involved unless they take action first. Or else its you who starts shit and consequently gets "chargrilled" for it. Let them talk all they like amongst themselves, and if they take action on it, then you can either let us know and we'll handle them, or you can handle it yourself, which will only cause us to get involved anyways and have to punish both sides. Your call.

I had a suspicion about that incident. But since I either don't have access or I'm just a little slow in the VB area, I wasn't able to check logs to see who'd done what. That's the only reason I never came to you about the situation. I wasn't going to point fingers at people if I didn't know for sure that was the case.

That statement in bold, right there, is the only reason I'm even starting to consider staying. It has nothing to do with the people in this thread asking for me to reconsider, though it does make me feel wanted. It's the fact that I really do love NL, always have, and I don't want to see it this way. Seeing it worse? I dunno if I could handle that.

I agree with replacing the mod team. I'm not trying to sound egotistical, but if you're thinking of replacing the mod team, and I was to stay, I would hope that I'd be on your new one. I want to improve this forum. But for the past few months I just thought it was impossible for me to do it alone. It seemed like no one else even cared about the forum in that regard. I'm glad you're taking a stance in this, and I'm glad Artan has stepped onto the field as well.

Things can only get better Shino if you didn't have to fucking ask Tom every time before making changes. Why not just make them yourself. You're always turning to him, just do what you want you've been running this forum. He only comes and makes it worse everytime he shows up. You should have some confidence in your role. Also once in a while asking the members what they want helps, then you filter out all the ridicolous shit and try to implement the new stuff. If you need help ask.

Also i agree with team mods replacing cuz some mods here that i wont mention there names are abusing there mods powers to there own benefits and banning others and changing there posts for no reason other than there self amusement which reflect on these lounge image is the 1st and best naruto fan lounge which is actually the point of making these forums on the 1st place..

As a proof i had lots of friends here that left these lounge for good cuz of the mods abusing and other part of them stayed and made a sad resistance group to disapprove at mods's behaviors.

In the end i must say that mods replacing isn't nessecary for making the lounge better but admins and s.mods can re-create the rules and make it more serious and binding for both mods and members while adding a few more binds on mods cuz the fact that they are the ones that must respect rules the most in order for other to respect it.

All I got out of that headache was 1) mods should be replaced, 2) people have left due to mods+ abusing power, and 3) rules should be stricter. I'm hoping that's all you were getting at because I really couldn't comprehend your post without the use of commas and periods. They're very useful, you should consider looking into them.

Now, to address your post:

My leaving or staying is not concrete at the moment. Basically, if things stay the way they are now, I'm leaving. Depending on how/if things change, I may decide that there's still a reason for my presence here.

Second: This is Naruto Lounge, not Naruto Central.

And thirdly: Just saying that the rules and mod team needs to be changed won't fix anything, as much as we wish it would. That's really up to Shino & Tom how everything plays out.

Actually, anyone can read those social groups. You don't have to be a part of it to read it. You just have to be a member to post. I didn't point the social group out to anyone, it was pointed out to me.

And yeah, I knew you'd know. It was just a harmless prank though. I think we're all guilty of messing around a bit. No one was doing anything mean to them though, and no one was being malicious. If they were, then I wouldn't have done it.

And BK is right. If someone trolled a FTP guy then you guys would honestly tell the FTP guys to suck it up and quit his crying if he reported it. When sessy was trolling FG and others via rep and FG complained about it you guys went on a FG bashing rampage calling him a pathetic crybaby. Hell, the only mods in that thread that didn't hop on the personal attack train were 48, LN, and myself. When it comes to impartiality, us blue namers aren't on the low end of the totem poll, yo.

Not ragging on anyone on the staff, mind you. I think this is easily up there as one of the fairest staff teams we've ever had on the site. I wouldn't want to see any one of them go.




Also, FTP and spam zone guys aren't the cause of the forum sucking. They shouldn't be used as a scapegoat. In fact, they're what makes this forum not suck, they're the only unique aspect of this place. I can go to NF or whatever if I want to have all my posts censored while discussing animu with crybaby dumbfucks. Will I find any clever, witty, intelligent posters there? Doubt it. And if I do they won't be anywhere near the caliber of the posters here. We have a bunch of cool people here. Why drive them away by catering solely to dime-a-dozen whiny retarded kids? Especially when there is a solution that caters to everyone that has already been proposed in the mod section. All I ask is that you guys sit back and really consider what you're doing before you do it. Is people joking about animu characters or saying "hai guyz" really that big of a deal? Is it worth doing something drastic that will eventually drive away every non-faggot in this place (Which it will do, the so called 'trolls' will go first, then once the the place is over-run with cheansters and anwars then everyone worth keeping will eventually get fed up with that shit)? BK - I've given up on asking Tom anything to do with this place. He would either never answer me, or would answer but put it off and never do anything. The only thing I need from him right now is the license info and the vb account used to make this forum, then I wont need him anymore. I haven't gotten that yet because I haven't needed it, once I do need it, I'll get it from him.

Mibs - This is a good mod team, but definitely not the best. You may not have been around then, but when Daisuke, Kagami Kyoji, and Hokage_Inuyasha were apart of it, along with 6n6 and OTC when they were way more active, that was arguably the best team this place has seen. Ah but that was the past and this is now, not saying any of you aren't deserving of the spot, just each one has some things they need to work on is all.

Kat - I do want you to stay, both as a friend and because you do your job damn well. I wouldn't want to lose either of those. If you believe you can help things get better around here, then stay, but if you just want to leave for whatever reason then I'll respect your decision.
