spirits i think exisist. i have one, and so do you. however, ghosts, no. im thinking it goes down this way, you die. goto heaven or hell. either or. demons from hell will know everything about you from your spirit that they now have. and they pose themselfs as a "spirit from beyond" to trick us and play us like toys.

I'm a believer too. My moms always tell me about her ghost stories from back when she was young. It did freak her out though. I guess because the whole family believes in ghosts too.

On a lighter note, I think there are ghosts in my house that purposely misplace my stuff so I won't find them anymore. It has happen to me on many occasion. Like my power cord for my external hard drive... now I gotta get a new one. Damn it all to hell!!!

yeah i believe in ghost i started too after visiting an old aboandoned hospital with my freinds used to be an told T.B an psyc ward so alot of sadness an depression in the area there on one of the roofs there was a opening to a small room with a window an when we walked towards it we saw something blocking the light an it turned at us an it kinda just blended in with the darkness then we ran for are lives lol i was scared but it felt good to be scared lol its just strange that the more you visit the more that things happen an the scarier it gets even in the summer the building are at least 20 degrees cooler

i think that ghosts do not exist. They say that they are made out of electromatic waves, but they do not appear to the naked eye. They have video footage like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-fzL6ITBH4 but it can't be possible. Remember, it's just my opinion. I base on scientific theories.

i don't know... ghosts can't bee seen unless your third eye is opened... psychics say that ghosts are earth bound spirits that hasn't passed on yet to the 'light' were they should go because of certain 'unfinished businesses'... or they dont know that they're dead.. yet...

btw, i'm half psychic... but my third eye isn't opened yet...

I do believe by the way, but I tend to research things like this a bit, and I think that there is something definatly going on that seperates a "ghost" from the spirits of most of our loved ones. Let me explain(and maybe teach you something).

Our world exist on a ceratin, unique frequency. Less educated people would call that frequency a dimension. ''Spirit world'', which is a world just like ours, exists in a different frequency. You may call it a diferent dimension.

Now, when the frequencys clash we get a short, strange picture of the other world. We call that picture a ghost or a spirit. The same thing is going on in the other world. We are also ghosts to them.

Ghosts are not dead people.

According to my religion there are not,but there are demons among us or angels.

Even if I'm not based on the religion's theory I myself don't think there are.That's one of the main reasons that I think when I die that I'll be nothing and I'll be nowhere,or maybe somewhere in the middle.

Just like the above member pointed out,ghost exist only among less educated people to explain effects such as maybe rain,snow etc. or even disasters.
The human mind can create images that don't exist sometimes just to fulfill our desire of what we want to see.When you really want to experience something you can also "feel" somehow.The mind can create that too.
Or we end up having delusions because of lack of sleep.

Umm, to debunk what you've said:

I've had 1 encounter to speak of. I was neither delusional due to lack of sleep. I there was no rain, snow, whatever. It was something I felt and heard. I didn't want to feel it, I was trying to go to sleep (though it takes me a good thirty minutes whenever I'm not sleepy. This was one of those nights.).

Anyhoo, on to the encounter.

It was about 9:30 one night at my old trailer. I had just laid down to sleep. About five minutes later, I feel pressure behind me on the bed. My eyes shoot wide open at this point. I had my ear on the pillow (that's how I sleep). Through the pillow, I start to steady breathing, as if someone was sleeping behind me. I know it wasn't me, cuz I was frozen stiff, couldn't breathe. The pressure and breathing lasted for about 20-30 seconds before it faded away.

On a further note, currently I have no religion. I'm not looking for one at the moment. So how can I "want" to "feel" something if I don't even worry about my own soul?

That is really, really, like really freak-ass creepy!

I do, in one thing, somehow believe in them. And I respect them, hell I respect them from here till the end of the earth, because they are more capable of doing things then we ever could imagine.

Ghost, spirits, demons, angels etc, etc, are things we just have to believe. Or don't. They fall in the same category as Bermuda Triangle, Pandora's Box, Atlantis and many other unexplainable things. Sure, what I've just mentioned are legends but so are the 'immaterial creatures'. Only we hear/witness more often of them then the others.

All I do, is tell myself that I do not ever wished to be near a ghost, or something in that area, but I respect them -as should be- for the love of my life.
