I don't really see Pain as one to torture. He seems more absolute in his assertion. Its either stay out of the way or die. Before going to Konoha he did tell Konan to kill anyone who got in the way.

I want Naruto to stab Pain. But I guess Naruto's not the meticulous type... I'm still waiting for the day in which Naruto devours Pain and flosses with Nagato's thin exterior. Konan, hankerchief.

The Kyuubi hasn't eaten in a while, Naruto should give him a treat once in a while, you know?
