Re: Just a Thought THREAD

Quote:
he is related to Tsunade.

watch this...
Jericho Uzumaki, are you trying to take HR's spot as spokesman of Senjunarutardism? Already in Madara=possible Kagami you spouted the same absurdities.

Quote:
Tsunade IS Senju so why in the world is her last name so secretive?
Because she's so damn obviously Senju Kishimoto thought he didn't have to spell it out for the "slowest" of fans.

Quote:
hmmm...J-man could be an Uzumaki he lived a long life a lot of chakra and inherently good.
1) He lived 54 years. Not exactly a long life.
2) He was never known for having an above-average chakra pool, specially considering his ranking on the ninja world
3) "Inherently Good"? Really? Uzumaki Nagato would like to have a word with you.

Quote:
thing is it is MORE probable for Tsunade to be an Uzumaki by heritage than J-Man.
No shit, sherlock?!

Quote:
Mito was used Uzumaki, she had Tsunade's Dad(or Mom) Now if they follow the pattern then that kid's last name was Uzumaki, and so on. Which would bring us to Tsunade (Uzumaki).
I already answered that.

Quote:
First, we know Tsunade's last name, is Senju. Even if her mother was the Senju/Uzumaki parent, she'll be Senju because of the status and rarity of the clan.
You see, Japanese naming conventions are not the same as ours.

Quote:
which would Also explain why there are no more Senju namesakes in the village. they procreated and did not give their last name to their offspring, Which could ALSO explain why the Leaf village has so many Talented ninja clans.
I want to laugh, but the absurdity is so great it makes me speechless. Say what? If anything, people would KEEP the Senju name for its prestige. The Senju clan is hanging by a thread because they were sought for wars/ special missions/ other dangerous stuff, making their numbers drop like flies.

Quote:
Senju + any clan = improvement. i am thinking they blended w/ Sarutobi at least, maybe Guy's clan as well or Lee's(still think they are related). Guy seems like he would do something that extreme.
Any shred of proof on this?

Quotes for noobs (learn how to break up a quote)
Quote:

So you can post the second bit and i shouldnt be allowed to if i dont tell you? Why be so rude?

Anyways, here is a quotes for noobs guide

1. A basic quote

[*QUOTE][*/QUOTE]

(the * need to be removed for it to work, I put them in so you can see the text) is a basic quote that just wraps something in a quote without saying who quoted it who quoted so

[*QUOTE]this is a quote[*/QUOTE] without any * would look like
Quote:
this is a quote

Edit: there is a button for this, it looks like a speech bubble. If you select text and then press the button the selected text will automatically be wrapped with the quote tag

2. A quote that says who said it

[*QUOTE=who said it][*/QUOTE] this adds who said the post, manually putting that there can be useful when quoting something external. Example:

[*QUOTE=Mangastream]Remember all you sexy bastards out there, Naruto, Bleach, OP, FT, etc. all on break this week. Feel free to take your rage out on us[*/QUOTE] without any * would look like
Quote:

3. A quote that says who said it and links to the post where it was said

[*QUOTE=who said it;X][*/QUOTE]

Where X is the post number.

For the post that i originally quoted it would look like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey, how do you break it up please and if your not willingly to tell me, then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]

That is what you get when you press the quote button.

4. Breaking up a quote

Now that you know how quotes work it all boils down to preference, how you want it to look like and how you want to do it.

One way of doing it is copying the latter part of the original quote [*/QUOTE] and then pasting it after each section you break up, write your reply, choose the text you want then paste it after that portion, repeat till you finish the go back and copy then paste the first part of the text at the beginning of each portion of text. Of course you can immediately copy and paste both parts of a poste so that you dont forget one in the end.

The end result would be something like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]
my reply 3
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]
my reply 4

Which without any * would look like

Another way of doing it would be to cut and paste the second part of the quote tag after the first section of text you want to seperate then write your reply select the second part and hit he quote button (it looks like a text bubble),if you do that without anything else the end result would be

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2
[*QUOTE]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]
my reply 3
[*QUOTE]then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]
my reply 4

Which would look like

my reply 4

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is
[*QUOTE#] to get [*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] (of course with the * removed)

Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

He was known for his power and jutsu versatility, and he only reached superb levels of chakra with Sage Mode.

But that's not the point! The point is, nothing tells us that Jiraiya is an Uzumaki.

yea, clearly he had an above average chakra pool because he is able to summon huge summons. where as a more average ninja cant do that. Also being able to use rasengan effectively would require him to have alot of chakra

O.O

I'm not degrading Kakashi, where did you get that. I'm just pointing out that people are mixing things up with Jiraiya using arguments that also fit Kakashi, who, by what we know, has an average chakra pool.

Oh, and power+variety of jutsu+good chakra control+chakra booster =/= large chakra pool, for those who don't get it.

Re: Just a Thought THREAD

Jiraiya did have fairly large amounts of chakra just based on the fact that he COULD use Sage Mode. Fukasaku or whatever his name was said that Sage Mode required a fuckload of chakra. He's not on the level with Naruto, Nagato, and Orochimaru, but he's definitely not down there with Kakashi, Itachi, and Sasuke.

EDIT: Oh, and btw, the SenjuNaru theory is even worse than the Tobito and "Granny" Tsunade theories.

/facepalms

Right... I forgot about that, thanks for reminding. And I normally use Jinchuuriki as the standard for "large chakra pools", me and my high standards

And that was the point of my post. But people prefer to nitpick one mistake I made instead of the full-of-wtf post of jericho.

Re: Just a Thought THREAD

Tsunade is an Uzumaki by heritage, but she's ALSO a Senju. Senju is a more "noble" name in Konoha, therefore that's the name that got passed down.

Minato can't be part of a legendary clan, as no matter who was the mother and father, he'd have the more "noble" name. Since he is named Namikaze, that rules out any names that would be "higher", like Senju, Uzumaki, Uchiha for the real nutjobs, etc.

Naruto is named Uzumaki not just in some half-assed "keep him safe" bullshit but also because it is the more "noble" of the families he is descended from.

Let's say, hypothetically, that a member of the Nara Clan and a member of the Hyuuga clan fell in love, got married, and had a kid. The family and the child are going to have the Hyuuga name because the Hyuuga are a more respected clan than the Nara. REGARDLESS of what gender each of the parents is. If THAT kid were then married to a Senju, their kid would be a SENJU. Because SENJU is basically the closest thing to ROYALTY in Konoha. The naming shit really should not be that hard to understand, people.
