My hunch was right is seems. You have no clue what your talking about.

No matter how powerful a chess piece is, it can be taken out if enough weak pieces gang up and corner it. So if madara takes his army for granted and looses them, he will soon find himself facing the brunt of the allied forces by himself, and he simply cannot defeat all them by himself. This EXACT principle was shown in the war recently when Darui made the comment about how enough copper pieces together could be worth more then one Gold. Do I really have to explain this further?

Quote:
Why should Madara have to get his hands dirty if he doesn't have to;D
I somewhat agree. At least in the sense that Madara should have had the advantage from the start and with the proper planning he should be able to win this war without having to participate. That's not factoring in plot-no-jutsu, and rainbow faggotry of course since they always overrides common sense in this manga.

1. K we'll see.

2. I'm aware. What I meant wasn't even chess related, I said wasn't sure what it was and ended up put it in a chess way.

3.You still don't get it. I even fixed what I said to knights/king in a castle..Knights always protect the king and end up losing then the kings a badass and can hold his own. I'm thinking movie wise.

4. I know..I know how chess works.. What you're trying to say is the "Madara Uchiha" with rinnigan is going to lose to a bunch of weak pieces because that's what happens in chess. Ya..he's going to get caught in that ino-shika-cho combo no doubt. If this was an actual chess game then sure he would lose, but he is like a chess piece that can move anywhere on the board, take anyone out and has 10 lives and the rest of the army are pawns.

I will agree my thoughts are a bit shaky, but I said I couldn't remember what I was originally thinking about and tried to use chess to describe it.

Re: Just a Thought THREAD

I don't know about chess, but I think Tobi and Kabuto should have sent some more power to fight the divisions.
But it is always risky to send your most valuable chess piece into unknown or open it to danger. Also there is no point in playing your ace card unless it really pays. Things to think about.
AMA, you are talking about a controlled game, where you have already planned the outcome and are ready to sacrifice a stronger piece to gain advantage. But in this case, Tobi and Kabuto don't know everything about the strength of the opponent, they might end up losing their strong piece and their weak piece.

So you can post the second bit and i shouldnt be allowed to if i dont tell you? Why be so rude?

Anyways, here is a quotes for noobs guide

1. A basic quote

[*QUOTE][*/QUOTE]

(the * need to be removed for it to work, I put them in so you can see the text) is a basic quote that just wraps something in a quote without saying who quoted it who quoted so

[*QUOTE]this is a quote[*/QUOTE] without any * would look like
Quote:
this is a quote

Edit: there is a button for this, it looks like a speech bubble. If you select text and then press the button the selected text will automatically be wrapped with the quote tag

2. A quote that says who said it

[*QUOTE=who said it][*/QUOTE] this adds who said the post, manually putting that there can be useful when quoting something external. Example:

[*QUOTE=Mangastream]Remember all you sexy bastards out there, Naruto, Bleach, OP, FT, etc. all on break this week. Feel free to take your rage out on us[*/QUOTE] without any * would look like
Quote:

3. A quote that says who said it and links to the post where it was said

[*QUOTE=who said it;X][*/QUOTE]

Where X is the post number.

For the post that i originally quoted it would look like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey, how do you break it up please and if your not willingly to tell me, then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]

That is what you get when you press the quote button.

4. Breaking up a quote

Now that you know how quotes work it all boils down to preference, how you want it to look like and how you want to do it.

One way of doing it is copying the latter part of the original quote [*/QUOTE] and then pasting it after each section you break up, write your reply, choose the text you want then paste it after that portion, repeat till you finish the go back and copy then paste the first part of the text at the beginning of each portion of text. Of course you can immediately copy and paste both parts of a poste so that you dont forget one in the end.

The end result would be something like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]
my reply 3
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]
my reply 4

Which without any * would look like

Another way of doing it would be to cut and paste the second part of the quote tag after the first section of text you want to seperate then write your reply select the second part and hit he quote button (it looks like a text bubble),if you do that without anything else the end result would be

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is
[*QUOTE#] to get [*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] (of course with the * removed)

Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

Talking about snake summons, I think snake summons plus mist jutsu is a good combo. Actually a lot of summons plus mist jutsu makes for a deadly combination.
Here's the reason, snakes navigate by scent and heat so they don't need to see the enemy. Dog summons can smell the enemy so they also don't need to use sight. Bugs that Shino uses could maybe track someone by looking for chakra to eat? In any case the mist jutsu is strong combined with animal summons.

Especially since Madara's teleporting jutsu, is the ONLY reason nobody can touch him.

I didn't say they should play the ace card. Manda may be strong but he is by no means an ace. He's just a stronger then average weapon. To me Itachi and Pein are the real aces here. They should definitely be saved for last. I was just saying that instead of evenly dispersing the main fighters among all the divisions, that they should put a few extra in one army, to overpower the enemy, and them that group could reinforce the other forces. Kind of like a snowball effect, where one force meets up with another, and takes out the enemy. Then those 2 force goes to back up another force and beat those enemies. Then those 3 forces team up...etc...until all enemies are dealt with.

The same could be said for the shinobi allies. They don't know everything about madara's forces either. The ideal thing for madara/kabuto to do, is keep a few Edo Golems unused to the side, and summon them to battles where they could be most useful. For example, Gaara's division is trying to keep the enemy at bay with long distance attacks as they retreat. The ideal thing for kabuto to do in that situation is have a Edo Golem that's extremely fast (or can fly, etc...) to get behind his forces and summon other Edo golems up to box them in so they can no longer retreat, thus allowing the main forces to quickly catch up to them.

Do you really want another Shogi analogy. Wasn't the Gold and Silver generals enough. How about Shikamaru being called a knight half a dozen times. I'm pretty sure I heard someone get called a pawn. We had a ton of chapter from Asuma a while back talking about the "King" Hmmm, that just leaves the Bishop, Rook, and Lance, and the set will be complete.

And you're basing your ideas on a real game of chess? Cool I can have my own way of thinking. I said that's how I think is madara/kabuto are going about it. It was just my thought of why they aren't attacking with all their strong people at once. Obviously your way of thinking isn't how its going on at the moment.

Yes a lot of this shit is random, but 1 of the random kyuubi brothers who got sucked up to hype up the little new comers of the war. Is not the same as madara uchiha one of the main villains getting taken out by a bunch of weaker people.

My reply 1
[*QUOTE] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]

[*QUOTE]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is
[*QUOTE#] to get [*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] (of course with the * removed)

Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

Re: Just a Thought THREAD

Actually there's a rook (飛) in the manga: Hidan (飛段).

Edit (for Weaver readers):
Chapter XXVII has the first battle in the manga and, although it's just an appetizer for the future 5-parter fight with Ifrit, I'd really appreciate some opinions on it, since I'm not that confident when it comes to fighting scenes. You're also welcome to comment on the rest of the plot so far and what could be changed (just don't ask to change the entire manga altogether).
