Minato used the Reaper Death Seal on the 9 tailed fox.

So, since Naruto is able to enter that weird, 'inner world' place (the one with all the pipes/hallways and the 9 tailed fox.

Then that means, that Minato IS there too. I am right. You are wrong if you disagree.

Minato only allowed half of the chakra sealed within Naruto to be used by Naruto.

This however does not mean that only half the chakra is sealed inside of Naruto, just half is accessible.


So I came to the conclusion, that Minato is also stored inside of Naruto somewhere.


Although, If half the chakra was sealed somewhere else, (Minato's body)... then this is quickly dismissed.

EDIT: It is also possible, however unlikely, that I missed some crucial line or something that says otherwise.

maybe death god wasnt able to handle the kyuubi, so minato decided to seal only a part of it (like sarutobi with oro) and sealed the other part in naruto just b4 death god takes it tool or while kyuubi was absorbed he performed the sealing

The Shinigami, is a god. Not some false god like Nagato. Although the 9 tails is the most destructive force we have seen so far, normal rules really don't apply to the death god, nor do abnormal rules.

When Sarutobi had trouble sealing Orochimaru, it was becuase he was weakened from the battle, and was able to only seal his arms, while the 9 tails was completely sealed.

yeah i know about sarutobi, but the fact that you can chose to seal only part of the soul leaves space for the 2nd thing i said.

First of all I would like to say thank you for having a "theory post". I love theories (I'm a science freak). Now down to business...

1. I don't believe that Minato is stored inside of Naruto some place. For the fact that the seal technique traps the parties evolved in Death Gods stomach.

New Theory: The real question is how could Minato seal half of the kyuubi and then seal the other half into his newborn son?

He must have some strong will power to get himself from the battle ground to Kushina whom was in labor (or just delivered Naruto). Because Sarutobi was only able to seal Orochimaru's arms (Which leads me to believe that the death God seal will allow you to seal parts of an entity and not just the whole entity itself). After sealing the arms he dropped dead.

Well, Minato was a fucking animal at space/time jutsu's, so It is not unlikely he could be able to travel super fast, or just use shadow clones.

Also

New New Theory: In order to seal chakra in 2 places 2 sacrifices. Minato and Kushina, whihc would explain why she is gone.

Then again, Sarutobi was able to seal Orochimaru's hands, the 1st and 2nd using Shadow Clones.

So who knows.

while the death god was absorbing kyuubi's soul he started performing the sealing (long range O_o), and when the seal was complete he stoped the deathgod thingie and died

I've always thought that Minato's soul is within the Death God summon's stomach, whilst the Kyuubi is inside Naruto as the jutsu was used to seal it inside of him.

When Sarutobi attempted to seal Orochimaru he said that their souls would mingle, but that presumably only occurs if the person using the jutsu seals the target within themselves.

I like your idea of Minato using a willing Kushina to seal the rest of the chakra into the scroll though. It's a bit ambigious all of this though because Sarutobi used 2 clones to seal the First and Second Hokage which were immediately devoured into the belly of death: http://onemanga.com/Naruto/124/07/

imo the only way the fourth is gonna come back is in narutos head or in a dream giving him advice...or some telling naruto about the fourth.

kisihi portrays the fourth as a legend who saved the village who is apparently the strongest ninja ever...he probably wants to keep him as a legend ..if he actually showed up in the manga for real i think i would respect him less i dont think hes actually all that hes cracked up to be also ppl only start respecting a lot of ppl when they are dead i.e. a legend.

also about the sealing jiraiya mentioned that minato isnt the type of person who does things for no reason ...minato knew sumit , he knew naruto will need the fox maybe he somehow knew naruto will be the destined child like in a dream or a preminition.

or the more logical theory i have is ...minata had to split the kyubii in half because the death god jutsu is meant to seal both the user and the one being sealed...so if minato put all of the kyubii chakra inside naruto it would just be minato who gets sealed in the death gods eternal thingymabob

Or...at some point Naruto gets beaten to death where they might converse. Just like the supposedly delusional state Kakashi has entered when seemingly killed.

Though, I still cannot understand what exactly you are trying to say: shouldn't Minato be able to sacrifice himself with the Kyuubi for naruto to live a normal life? or am I missing something again...

IMO I also believe the 4th is in The Seal also. I feel that the jutsu should not cost your life, to seal something. Its sealed meaning it can be released.

Saratobi Died, during the process, Orochimuru did not die therefore that voids the death gods right to take saratobis life. Making it a incomplete jutsu? yes?

I believe when the kyuubi is released the 4th will appear. I think it would be a fair jutsu for the sealing to have to also give your life by sealing yourself, Until released.

Its funny because I stated this, theory in other threads. lol to imagine "CERTAIN" people beleive it here but told me I was completely wrong in the other threads. Not naming people XD
