The Mangekyou Sharingan and all of its techniques puts you up there, buddy. Itachi said he can't even use it to its full potential. Perhaps this person can? I don't know, but I forget the manga chapter, but the picture of the leader I saw, he had distinct little swirls in his eyes, like the Sharingan.

and yeah he deff made it sound like it wus the only thing he had if infact he does have it, and as the one kid said i do think i remember itachi saying he cant use it to its full potential yet wut if this guy can and its way more powerful than itachi's

If you saw a REAL picture of the leader's eyes then you can see that the swirls in his eyes look nothing like a sharingan. Unless you've been looking at one the doctored photos floating around, you wont see anything saringan-like on the leader at all. IF anything the leader's true eyes favor Kurunia's eyes more than anything.

i doubt the leader is from uchiha cause it would ruin the one ninja from 1 village thing. and kisame said that he thought itachi killed ALL the uchiha except sauce-can. and if the leader has the sharingan it would ruin how rare an uchiha is to be alive cause there everywhere now. i highly doubt the leader is uchiha or has the sharingan

No, I'm not retarded. I can tell the difference between a doctored photo and the real one. Anyway, I am referring to their similarity to the mangekyou sharingan. Now I credit you, their similarity to the mangekyou is also slight, but nonetheless that could be what the Kishimoto is aiming for. Not a direct connection, but enough that it gets the brain flow moving. I never really took it in that aspect. They are like Kurenai's eyes, but I do believe it is a form of the Sharingan. Perhaps he is powerful enough that he is constantly maintaining the Mangekyou Sharingan. I don't know, I think it's a dumb thought, but a thought nonetheless.

Anyway, a subject that has arisen in my mind is. How DO we know that is the leader? Just because he is the distributing the orders, doesn't directly mean he is the leader. Perhaps he could be a second in command? Just some ideas processing. No definites.

ermm....i had watch ths post for quite long...#1 baad guy say there was a fake 1....hehe...but ermm...1 guy oso post 1 which hav a circle thgs instead of "comma"....but my manga collection...ehem...hav both of them....i thk both was correct....juz the akatsuki was too perfect tht it had so manyy techniques...jzu a guess...hehe...but my manga collection reali had both the sharingan look like n cirlce look like eyes....ya...both available !!!
