one wrong move on pain's side will burn all of his 6 bodies to ashes, or slashed by susannoo. one miscalculation on itachi's side can render himself a total wreck and dead in a blink of an eye. so if they are both attacking and defending perfectly, they will get tired without ever hitting one another.the first one who gets tired dies, and itachi will die first. pain takes this.
