Hinata > Kakashi?

I don't want to turn this into a flame war, but I've been sort of shocked that people aren't flipping out that Kakashi's dead, probably the coolest Jonin in Konoha and has one of the most interesting pasts, being a former ANBU captain and all. Not to put down Hinata at all, but Kakashi has been critical to the plot and series the entire time, where have been the metaphorical tears for Kakashi-sensei? I don't think he is dead, because that'd leave Konoha with what? Gai, Neji and a pregnant Kurenai as the only known Jonins? Sounds a bit boring to say the least!

Anyways, if anything I simply want thoughts why you think the reaction to Kakashi's death has be appropriate, more than what was necessary or less than it should have been. Would love comments, thanks!

Haha, Kakashi is cool but to anser your queston, people have been focuing on hinata's because a looooong question is about to be answered. Who will Naruto be with?

Ever since Hinata's confession and what not people have been more interested in the possibility and whatnot.

I still have fingers crossed for Kakashi because then if Kakashi dies, his life would have been in vein. He couldn't protect Obito or Rin, and he ends up dying? That would suck serious balls yo...

You must seriously hate Hinata cause you cant seem to get off her case. Is Hinata living that bad. You have done nothing but complain about her.

Hinata is young and still has a life to live. Now that she is alive her role may become more important. Hinata plays a more important role with Naruto.

Kakashi is older and basically done what he could in the manga. He is Naruto's teacher.

See this is why my theory has always been that he saves Naruto from the next battle with Sasuke, where the latter actually goes for a killing bow. (My general theory is he saves any Team Seven member with his own life).

Actually, I was happy she lived and this has almost nothing to with Hinata, except for the fact I was shocked how little people cared about Kakashi. He's older but he's 27 and was my favorite character for a very huge part of Part I, so I am a bit perplexed at the rather mixed reaction. When taken into account he was involved in nearly every episode, arc, chapter, movie, etc etc - I thought it'd be gigantic. I don't think so at all Kakashi has not done anything to make up for the loss of Rin and Obito and has to be there for the final battle between Sasuke and Naruto. His life just seems to be a big tragedy, and that's sort of horrible.

(Just to clarify the only character I hate is Sasuke as he currently is, I hope he changes so I can like him again).

Do you even realize how long its been since kakashi's fight.. like ummm 7 or 8 chapters. So yeah Kakashi isnt going to be the main topic on everyone's mind. If you want to then go to is kakashi dead thread and you can probably find some kakashi shippers there.

His fight may have been chapters ago, Mystik, BUT his death will be confirmed or refuted in a chapter very very soon, probably in early April. Furthermore, I think if he dies know, it sort of shuts the folder to a very incomplete tale -- he can't fail to save Team Minato and then fail to save Team Seven, that's just brutal.

People were caught up in kakashi's fight like 50 chapters ago.. you werent a member at the time. What are we supposed to do talk about kakashi with every chapter. Kakashi happened to be the topic of discussion when that fight happened but its been a while and its not really bothering us like it is you apparently lol...

Kakashi is sleeping. He is not dead. wtf. He's getting some gay power up like Sasgay perhaps. Kakashi is drained of chakra. I don't know why people keep saying he's dead. The manga didn't said he was dead.

Why Hinata got more of a reaction? Cute girl. Told Naruto the "love" word. Went six tails and we all assumed that she was dead, because of six tails.
