I think that Konan joins Konoha and helps with intel on AK. And i think that before dieing Nagato sees and believes in Naruto's way for peace and recognizes Naruto as someone he wishes he could have been.

I also predict that the Rock makes an appearance and lays the smack down on Danzo the Clown!

on topic, with the surprise kishi mentioned, naruto will lose or something along the lines, the way the story is set, we expect naruto to win, but pein will have something up his sleeve, and the 8 tails will make an apperance soon...

Meanwhile in Konoha Sakura takes care of Hinata. Tsunade checks on Kakashi.

Naruto gets intercepted by Konan.
Konan: you are a very strong boy. You remind me of someone...
Naruto: Move away, otherwise I'll kill you!

Konan uses her paper jutsu, she becomes a lot of papers and those papers stay in the mid air, they form a wide circle around Naruto. On the papers symbols start to form, Naruto gets caught in a barrier. Konan appears outside the barrier and does the handseal, some papers start to burn.
Konan: I could kill you, but I need you alive unfortunately. Smoke from these papers will make you sleepy. Go, sleep!
Naruto passes out, but then disappears in a puff of smoke.
Konan: A shadow clone! But he couldn't have gone around me without me noticing it.

Nagato turns around to see Konan: Did your paper bunshins found him?
Konan: he has sent a bunshin towards us as a diversion, I don't know where he is.
Nagato: he went for some backups, his chakra is also low. We need to escape now.
Konan: I'll make the preparations for the reverse summoning.

This is a decent predicition exept for the fact that pein will not stop until he gets naruto.

I can see Madara stepping in but he might not even care if they die. He wants to know what Naruto has to bring to the table with the kuubi. My opinion of coarse
