On top of improving her fighting skills she studied medical ninjutsu under a legendary Sannin, saved Kankuro's life, and helped Chiyo bring down a powerful Aktaksi member. Now she is able to save Hinata with that skill. Compared to Sasuke and Naruto, two powerful shinobi's with insane powers, of course Sakura will look helpless and useless. I believe she will be playing a bigger role in the future, which will overshadow what Hinata did in this fight arc. I wouldn't put Sakura to the side just yet.

sakura is most certainly not useless, i mean without her most arguments wouldn't exist since there would be no naruhina vs narusaku. and she did prove useful during the chuunin exam... as a delay until ALL the other leaf genin showed up to help.

i mean, if not for her lee probably would have let sasuke and naruto die. ok not really, but i'm trying to make a joke or something, this whole thing kinda got away from me.

Yeah. Although I particularly like Kurenai, well before she got pregnant and had to rely on Shikamaru to run her errands. Anko seems half decent, and Tsunade is pretty sweet. Other than that, damsels. I swear that origami chick should get off her ass and do something. Well I guess she did get soaked by Jiraiya's special liquid, kill pathetic losers who miraculously got pinned by paper, oh and bitch and moan about how Nagato does his job.

Shino always seem cool though. His tactic against Madara was actually interesting looking. Neji, not too bad. He saved Ten Ten (why) and Lee's life. He's Jounin... That's about it. He was pretty amazing as a rookie though...

I think you guys forget though that Kishi shows extreme amounts of sexism here towards women here in part two. In part one, no one can argue that Kishi set up to show that there are exceptional female nin in the world and actually gave them decent fights to show their abilities along with showing that Tsunade was a great fighter and med nin. he even gave her the next position as a hokage and showed that she was key to the Sannins and in the last ninja war. that is not the problem, the real issue is that since Part two has been done, Kishi has made EVERYfemale nin we have come across know med nin stay back to only do nothing but wait and heal their men. He gave us the Sakura and Chiyo fight and then thought to himself.."well that should do it for all the female fights and satisfy everyone...now on to all guys and make the girls do nothing but cry a moan and get in the way"
I mean really.... got to see nothing of real progression from any other female nin....hell, we never got to see Tsunade wrinkled up or even really fight pain! He let Konoha get destroyed when there wasn't even a NINJA WAR! ALL the other hokages had far more on their plate than just a terrorist group looking for bijuus. ALL other hokage had all out ninja wars that were against the village and still the village wasn't destroyed! But under Tsunade's hokageship the freak'n villlage is destroyed and she can't stop the 1 person that attacked the village! Really......no matter how strong Pain is, that is seriously some sexist crap that the first female leader couldn't stop one person but all other previous 4 hokage's could protect teh village from entire villages and countries that wanted to destroy the village along with the 4th protecting the village from the ultimate source of chakra - the 9 tails.
