Yeah, Naruto is definitely about hard work and determination but he is also showing streaks of genius here and there. With his high chakra levels and ability to spam Kage Bunshins, he can pretty much make any technique there is...theoretically.

Look in naruto's uncle thread to read what was already discussed.

We already get hints of Naruto being a genius with his Kyuubi chakra (I at least consider this as some kind of special which no one els has) then we get his nearly limitless chakra of his own (also something not much have) and the Statement of Minato "...you can handle this because you are my son" or similiar (only a few chaps ago and I already can't remember it clearly ). Well it still requires some work until you can use a Kekkai Genkai as well...

We don't have any spoiler yet cuz there is no Weekly Shonen Jump (as confirmed in a few post pre located to this one of yours) and therefore no Naruto chap this week as well.

Lol, it is annoying to not get a chapter, but it is easy to think of Kishi not as a man, but as a machine to crank out manga. They do need a vacation sometime. Perhaps the break will have a positive impact on the quality of subsequent chapters.

i don't think he can make any techniques. he can't use Katon, Suiton, Doton, or Raiton. He can only use Fuuton. so i guess he can only develop Fuuton techniques, and other techniques using Taijutsu. i don't think he can develop a lot of Genjutsus as well. well, Genjutsu using frog katas maybe...

I think by the end of the Manga, Naruto will be capable of genjutsu and all elements. Genjutsu to prove how "intelligent" he is, and all elements because Kakashi never met a shinobi that could use all. I think Naruto is destined to surpass the greatest of the greatest in all fields. Through hard work and natural talent, he will outlive Sarutobi and master all elements. Just my opinion

I hope not. I think its only feating that he never learns genjutsu. He'll definetely master a way to overcome it and that should be enough simbolism of triumph over one of his weak areas.

This is a good wishful thinking and I wish this would come true as well. Overkill? Not really imo, as it makes him an all-around ninja type but i doubt if he'll ever get to master genjutsu. Even so, i dont think he needs it to get out of a situation involving genjutsus.

I dont expect him to use it much. Once just to show he can would be good for me, but i think that Kishi will end Naruto, showing that Naruto is truly a God of shinobi. Genjutsu should help prove that, as well a being able to use all 5 elements. 4 at the very least
