If she wasnt punching the boy, she wouldnt be Sakura. To her it's her special "bond" with Naruto that she has come accustomed to doing, and Naruto to taking. She wanted to show affection, but not to mislead everyone about their "relationship"/friendship with just a hug so she hit him first. Even Hinata didnt feel jealous. It just shows everyone how close they are, BONDS, that she can even hit the great Naruto after saving the village and villagers. Because Naruto is tough enough to take it no matter how exausted he is and she knows it. Seeing their bond should also let the villagers know how they feel about Sasuke too and why they want to get him back. They may be able to understand now.

It reminded me of when Gaara cam back and his village was cheering for him. Naruto is now officially famous in Konoha and soon in the shinobi world. Great chaptr.

Danzou likely has influence with the Fire Lord's advisors. That advisor just looked like he was a sneaky, no good bastard. Danzou has likely already promised them money or power if he was allowed to be Hokage. Danzou likely wants to use their jinjuriki to take over shit. Make Naruto the 1 man mafia that will destroy u if u dont pay Konoha for your protection. Danzou believes shinobi are tools to be used and disposed of when necessary. With 9 tails as his tool, what guy like him wouldnt want to "control" everything and call it for the safety if the Fire Land.

It would have been nice to hear some of Naruto's thoughts about the village cheering him, but he was probably so much in shock he had no thoughts.

this chapter was decent.......there are a lot of dumb comments toward kishi for no apparent reason...you guys just have dumb interpretations

first off. the hit by sakura was classic affection in a sisterly way.. she always used to hit naruto for acting stupid.. wut naruto did was dangerous and rash (as she said). she hit him cuz naruto made her worry so much about him.. as in takin on akatsuki leader and askin for no interference. she hit him for that reason.. you really think it bothered naruto that much. she then gave him a TRUE hug of gratitude for everything hes become and has done. you think naruto even remembers the hit after that.. he probably liked it wen she hit him. it shows she really cares for naruto as her close friend. and thats what naruto appreciates more than anything, people caring for him and others

of course the daimyo is fukin retarded..he doesnt live in the real world. hes lost in his pampered little life and watches events from a far. he doesnt know how things actually are.. thats why they are easily manipulated by people like danzo. the manga was ended right after his appointment of danzo as hokage. there will definetly be contreversy, its not gonna stay final.

naruto of course is going to confront him about his association with pain. especially if naruto catches wind of what danzo was sayin about the 3rd, his father, and jiraiya....because that shit is definetly not gonna fly with him.

I have mixed feelings about this chapter partly great but also sucking. Danzou this coward will ruin Konoha. I just immagine following, Naruto learns about Danzous appointment to Hokage and then screams out his complaints why the guy who was mainly responsible for Nagato becoming Pain was promoted to Hokage but this is more something for the prediction thread... Good part of it is that I'm eager to see Danzous sorry ass get wicked kicked by Sasuke. Also great was the Kuma nin part that guy is... interesting.

I do think that it was a rather intriguing hug. What should have happened, at least if I were Naruto, I would cock-slap Sakura all the way to the hidden sand village and then sweep Hinata off her feet.

Okay, so maybe that would 100% ruin the manga...

Overall I really liked it, that pic with the hundreds/thousands of people greeting Naruto was fantastic; however, I still had a few problems.

1. Why is Sakura the first to walk up to him like that?
2. Why is Hinata crying because she is so happy he is okay, but then starts smiling only after Sakura has stolen the "special hug" that rightfully belongs to Hinata? Fuck it, Hinata deserves more than a hug.
3. Is the daiymo of the Land of Fire a fucking moron? Not only does he look stupid, but you'd think that someone as "old and wise" as he might take a minute or two to think before appointing a crippled senior citizen to be the next Hokage.
