Actually, the video proves that having no money, and running around the woods dressed like a gimp and breathing fire and wearing wizard hats is way better than the two extremes of rap videos - thoughtful and introspective, or BLING OUT AND GRINDING.

Also, Mal gets +rep for finding the appropriate macro. Well, the next time I can give rep to him anyway.

Biggie isn't even that good. The hype over him is simply because he died. Again, Rakim was ten times better than Biggie.

I mean, Rakim was actually influential. What was so influential about Biggie. He wasn't that great of a storyteller. I prefer Nas much more than Biggie. See New York State of Mind.

I prefer Biggie over Tupac though. I don't even understand why people compare the two. Tupac is pure shit.

And Biggie is influential, he is one of the most quoted rappers today. And he's a cultural icon. He single-handedly brought rap back to the East Coast. And he painted pictures with his lyrics, argueably better than anyone else.

And he is better than Tupac. I don't see the big deal about Tupac. No wordplay. He kinda bores me.

Rakim actually influenced the way people rap though. His flow is more different than anyone else's. His combination of minimalism with multiple rhymes on a bar can be found no where else, yet you see pieces of him in all of today's good rappers.

Seriously, Ol' Dirty has a better flow than Biggie.
