It's LEGO. That is the brand name. You don't play with LEGOS or LEGOs. You play with LEGO bricks/blocks/dudes/etc. Saying LEGOS is like saying NINTENDOS. It's NINTENDO. NINTENDO DS, NINTENDO controllers, NINTENDO games, etc. Saying "lul lyke I waz playin with NINTENDOS" is stupid. Exactly like saying "LEGOS" is stupid. That was the point Mal was making. lego is a brand yes. you dont say im playing with lego either. just like how you dont say im playing nintendo. you say im playing nintendo n64/ds/wii/etc. or just even the second part, im playing n64/ds/wii/etc. and not include nintendo. that is what lego is saying. i already found what the company wants us to call them. they want us to call them "LEGO Bricks or Toys" specifically.

OG has a point. The word Lego is more like an adjective as it is a brand name used to modify the word brick/toy. It's the same as saying Canon printer or Samsung LCD.
Mal, on the other hand, has also a point on this. He was right on saying that Lego is a brand name so it's also not right to pluralize it with s, or to pluralize it for that matter. (But i said legos coz that was just an informal word i use for Lego toys. I didnt actually think people would care about it.)
