i prefer not to use grunts and nondescript sounds to finish my sentances

i've been told that the american equivilant to "eh" is "huh"
is that true?

Yeah, everyone speaks with some kind of accent. Liverpool, Yorkshire, Manchester; England is no different than Canada or the US when it comes to regional accents.

as for my accent, manitoban i suppose
Manitobans are fairly strict about grammar
like phrasing questions as questions rather than as statements with upper inflections at the end
that's all i can really think of
