Emo Was Sasuke

Great chapter! Madara's explaination was predictable but I enjoyed the panels nevertheless. I still wonder how the Hyuuga fit into the scheme of bloodlines. The Byakugan and Sharingan are both all about insight but their approachs are much different. The Sharingan fits the older son's "Might makes right" philosophy and is more suited for combat while the Byakugan fits the younger son's peaceful sentiments and helps avoid long, drawn out fights. But it seems like Kishi is telling us that all eye techniques are drawn from the older son's line. So I'm puzzled as to how the Hyuuga ended up with an eye technique and live peacefully with those who are their ancestral enemies. When did the Hyuuga refuse the Uchiha's path of hatred? *sigh*Maybe Neji got all his ideas about destiny from his ancestors.

Destiny cannot be decided by ancestry (eventhough Hyuga tried something like that). I have a line of pastors in my family for generations, but I'm not interested in that calling one bit.

What madara said, I believe was all lies and it is going to fall right in his face when naruto realises what Itachi said and did to him.

Madara is just evil and thinks he can control people to become hateful, vengeful like himself. Remember, we still do not know what his actual plans are. Man one moment I'm in love with him now I just cant stop hating him

Next chapter, naruto will judge what madara said by taking into account what itachi said and did to him. From what i've seen might not be able to defeat rai forcing him to pull back when he's got a chance.

I think Raikage used his lightning fast reflexes to dodge the attack. One thing is cleared up though Juugo isn't Kage level as the Raikage just pwned his arse. I wonder if Juugo is dead or not. Sasuke used MS on Shi. Suigetsu may get a new sword from Darui.

I guess Juugo served his purpose though. He allowed enough time for Sasuke to prepare his genjutsu, otherwise Raikage would be chasing his ass around from the getgo. Too bad it was at the cost of Juugo being reduced to a broken punching bag.lol

Is it me or has Juugo always get the short end of the stick? I remember Juugo being tossed around like a rag doll by Killer Bee off screen.lol

This is what I'm starting to dislike in this manga. It sometimes seems like Kishi forgets what he has written before (or just discards it). He has almost complete left out the Byakugan already, and is currently bypassing the Rin'negan by saying that the Uchiha are the descendants of the older son. Where do the Rin'negan users figure in to all of this now?

Although it might be an ability that isn't inherited by blood at all, but just appears in random people that aren't even related to each other. Which would also be one explanation to why it's such a rare ability.

In any case, I would like more detailed explanations... but I guess he likes to leave room for whatever crazy things he comes up later...

Yes, I believe that Madara is trying to make Naruto see the futility of trying to save Sasuke, so that Naruto will try to fight him. But this would have another effect. If Naruto is convinced to go ALL out, as in trying to flat-out KILL Sasuke, that pretty much wrecks any future chance of Sasuke being 'saved.' At least, according to Madara's plan. If Sasuke thinks that even Naruto of all people is trying to kill him, he'll lose what restraint he has against Konoha, take the EMS, and, as far as Madara is concerned, becomes his new most powerful weapon.

I believe that Naruto won't go all out on Sasuke.. Or, he will never have the intention to kill him.. More like it.
Madaras plans are going exactly how he wants it. I think that many believe that Sasuke and Naruto are destined to be eternal enemies.. Thats what Madara said the previous chapter. However, I believe now that Naruto and Sasuke will break this tendency(?)!!

They will stop this ever lasting fight between Uchiha vs Senju, heaven vs earth and so on.
Heaven is Sasuke who possess the eyes, Naruto is the earth who possess the good health and great stamina = Sasuke being the older brother of the two children the Rikudo Sage, Naruto the younger.

OMG OMG i just got to reading it i loved it so much maybe cause i had to wait a bit longer to read it this week but it was realli good if ful loved the part with the ful 2 clans bak den so informative dat madera he ful tells the most interesting stories but i can't help to think it cements the survival of both naruto and sasuke cause it's altimately about naruto and he needs to stop this hatred and revenge thing and that envolved him help end the uchiha curse

No way raikage is faster than Minato, if that was the case Sasuke wouldn't be able to read his moves so easily. But that translation means that the lightning aura that is surrounding raikage is just to improve his reflexes and not a shield like I thought. So raikage is avoiding attacks and not tanking them?

Although the Hyuuga are use gentle fist, they don't really seem gentle. They seem to be very to be very level headed with a very deadly taijutsu. They could have been filled with just as much hatred as the Uchiha. It may have just been grasped by the Hyuuga branch family and aimed towards the Hyuuga's main branch. So don't rule out the Hyuuga being ancestors of the Uchiha.

The Hyuuga may have been descendants of the Rin'negan and ancestors of the Uchiha. And the Hyuuga were ruthless killers bent on revenge on the younger's descendants, until three brothers were born. One Byakugan user and twin sharingan users. The Byakugan brother's eyes were pure enough to that the descendants ways were wrong, so he took his followers and aligned them with the Senju. The Sharingan twins then went and took their followers and started expanding their clan of sharingan users to take revenge on the on the Senju, the descendants of the younger and stealer of their brethren.

He's got to convince Naruto to give up on Sasuke and Sasuke to completely give up on Konoha before he can even think of trying to break down Naruto's faith in his village.
