That doesn't mean you can't cross-train. Just don't do it through your teacher.

I know, it is just easier through my teacher, because I don't really have much time anymore to do anything(except for in the summer) else and my parents say that Tae Kwon Do is enough.

Ah. Well that's cool.
I am actually going to start training with my older bro who took Shotokan Karate for 3 years and took Shaolin Kenpo for a year. He has also self-taught himself many other styles. It's going to be fun!!! My goals in M.A......? Hm To learn.

Really all of the ones you just said. Cept cause I am bored. I like to be fit, it can be useful in the real world. Etc.

Animal Kung Fu styles have really complicated footwork. It takes really hard dedication, training and practice to fully master it. ------------- Btw, does anyone watch K1? I watch the fights there a couple of days ago and it was pretty cool. |

That'd be interesting to look into.
But another thing I might be taking soon is Aikido. I'm quite excited about learning a new martial art.

Yeah...Aikido is pretty good. I thought about learning that before too, but couldn't really find a good teacher or school.

um.. OTC do u mean tkd o_0?
yeh um.. i do TKD but when i get the chance. (when i get to a certain lvl) i want to start doing other styles.. im mostly thinkin Aikido and Wing chun... they suit my goals and are both effective. but do u think it would be a waste of time learning both seeing that the concept is almost the same?
