But I have grown up around a gun oriented family, safely, and when I come of age, 21, I will be carying. My dad has been carying a gun for a long time now. It really is effective... He has only ever drawn it twice though, amazingly.
But on the martial arts topic, I like a straight up Tiger Style in Kung Fu. Maybe it's the hand positioning, dunno, but I like it the most.

i dunno if any of u have heard of it, but i think theres a gun related martial art called Gun Kata, it sounds cool, someone told me about it. but i dunno if its real or fictionary

I have taken Tae Kwon Do for 8 years and am currently a Blackbelt 1D (first true black belt rank). I don't know any other style apart from TaeKwonDo, which is bad because it would be hard to get enough space to use TKD in a streetfight.

me and some friends got together last night to train...
apparently 4 hrs went by...

heh, but never do a karate kata too close to a tree (it hurts if you forget that its there XD)

Yeah the space thing with TKD is it's ultimate weakness. My dad's saying is your not going to use a high side-piercing kick in a bar fight. There's no bloody room!

That's why, when I get my 1st dan in TKD, I am probably going to cross-train. Maybe Shotokan or Shaolin Kenpo......Dunno yet.
