It's not lava, is similar to lava but instead of having a fiery component has a watery one (if you see the spoilers, the kanji used to Mizukage's Youton is water-based). Can be something like acid or hot water (geyser), but unfortunately Kishimoto's intention is lost in translation.

As for that slimy thing mizukage used, I guess it is dangerous to touch it because Sasuke would otherwise just run through it. It could be acid or hot water or something sticky that could trap you like a web. Any of those things would make Sasuke think twice before walking through it.

Also, Sasuke did the smart thing for running away from Gara and co. But to leave his teammates like that, makes me think Sasuke is under influence from that dark chakra to behave in such a way. Or he has gone bad for real (that is also an option).

i agree with that super ninja guy i agree that sasuke might be influenced with dark chakra normally he save karin from fallin or at less show compassion but he ful where bitch lol but it may just be because hes so close to danzo he's driven and Mizukage is correct uchiha men are hot at least for sasuke and itachi

Pretty good chapter.
Damn, Kishimoto, giving Sasuke an opportunity to fight all five Kages. It's a bit ridiculous.

Some things are pretty stupid though. Sasuke is totally out of character, whatever is happening to him is not good enough explanation for this change. Also, Mizukage calls Sasuke 'Akatsuki' and he is stupid enough not to confuse her with at least telling her that he isn't Akatsuki (because he isn't really). "I am not with the Akatsuki, I just came here for the pussy old man." would be good enough for Sasuke to say, not just go with the flow of fighting. It's a given he will be out of chakra at some point before he even catches up to Danzou.

Anyway, what have we learned this chapter:

Youton is somewhat of an acid jutsu, and it's a Kekkei Genkai.

Mizukage doesn't swallow.

I tend not to read the spoilers at all. Gives me better feeling when I read the chapter, and discussing spoilers on forums take away from my time for nothing.

Too bad I didn't read that though. I forgot how it's like to have a fake spoiler. They didn't show up at all after Nja started posting spoilers. It's been some months now.
