Is it me or has this filler arc been going down hill fast???? it started out pretty good but now its just dragging on. this last episode was pointless we found nothing new out and there was no high point making me want to watch the next........... i give up on ALL FILLERS

The point is to stretch the anime from the manga as much as possible, but in a more interesting way. I just want to see Genryusai's, Shunsui's and Ukitake's zanpakuto in action.

It's too bad there are crap Zanpakutou getting in the of the cool fights. At least the filler episodes are acknowledging and making fun of the fact that both Omaeda and his Zanpakutou suck complete face and take him off screen before wasting too much time.

Kenpachi just showed up and he's laughing hysterically. Someone better stop him quick, because he's going to slaughter half the Zanpaktou by himself. And what's up with his insane spiritul energy? He's still got the eye patch on, but his energy level is a great as when he has it off. I wonder if he fought his zanpaktou off screen and learned its name. If so that would make this whole filler arc worth it.

what would make the filler totally worth it.....

if kenpachi met his zanpaktou and learned its name in this filler.

then in the manga it shows a small flashback of kenpachi against his zanpaktou. he then uses it to take out the dumbass espada he's fighting.

Kenpachi learning of his Zanpaktou's name in an anime filler is just fail.

PS: Bakuya vs. Kenpachi makes this arc worth it. Though Bakuya should be at an automatic disadvantage since he shouldn't be able to active Bankai since he never took down his Zanpaktou. Bakuya has the speed while Kenpachi has the power. I bet we won't get a clear winner out of this though just to save face with the fans.

I'd say this filler arc is probably the best Bleach has offered us. I like it more than the Bountou arc at least.

^ yeah this probable is the best filler so far. At least were seeing all the big dogs fight, where as in other arcs it's only been a few good shinigami and a bunch of fodder. If Yama gets to fight this whole arc will be worth it. Damn that's one tough old man. Even his sword knows better than to betray him. And now Shunsui and Ukitake are about to fight. :}

Meh, I think this filler arc is doing great, actually. I think it's a nice break from the FKT arc.

lol, we find out kouga is byakuya's uncle or was it his father. Not sure. Either way I didn't see that coming. No wonder byakuya was so intent on helping him. He probable was told as a kid by his grandfather how wrong Kouga was done and felt it was his responsibility to set it right. Although trying to kill all the current shinigami when Yama's the only alive that's responsible seems unjustifiable. So much for Kouga's belief of wanting peace.

I retract my last comment about this filler arc being the best filler. Its still better than Bounto arc but it became crap very quickly after watching the most recent episode where Muramasa went to Earth.

Just interrested in how Byakuya could possibly be related to this Kouga guy. Depending on how their relationship is will probably determine whether this filler was good or bad. Also, I just liked seeing what the shinigami's zanpaktos looked like.
