I somehow thought getting a sportbike and finally getting a license was enough to make a signature that said something to the effect of "Are you 1337 enough to ride a ninja?" with a pic of my bike.

Yeah. Gross overstatement. At the time, that was the hardest thing I'd ever done and completed. It's a catch-22. You can't learn to ride without a licensed rider in a car behind you, you can't get insurance without a license, you have to have insurance before you go do the drivers test, and you somehow have to get your bike to the DPS without technically riding it there. That's not to mention that my only avaliable storage was 300+ miles away (because I was in college), so going to ride/learn was a bitch.

So you do have a bike and license now?

If that's really the law in your state (doubt it) then that sucks balls.

In MA you take a written test for your permit, and then you can get insurance. Then you can ride whenever you want during daylight with no passenger.

Then you take a quick road test and get your license.
