today a gentle man tried to tell me how to do my job

at the bottom of the reciept there is an online survey
I always circle it before handing the reciept to the customer

this morning i did that and the man told me "you're supposed to tell me about the survey."
Me: "I circled it on your reciept sir."

Customer, "You're supposed to tell me about it, every one tells me about it."

Me: "Well i'll go home and cry about that tonight sir."

Customer, "You do that."

Me: "You have a good day sir."

A man walks up to the till and stands uncomfortably close to me

Customer:"that's a nice sweater you're wearing"

Me: *shuffle away* "Thank you"

Customer: "are all those awards yours?" *points at teh mass of awards on my chest*

Me: Yes

Customer: "... or did you steal them from some one else?"

Me: "... uh, no sir, you don't get paid for the ones you steal, so these are all mine."

Customer: "my, how prestigious."

Me: "uh, Thank you?"

(at this point he stops, and goes to get moth balls, but comes back dissapointed and continues his conversation...)

Customer: "You're a very pretty girl."

Me: "Thank you."

Customer: "very very pretty."

Me: "Thank you."

Customer: "If i were younger, I'd be chatting you up" (lol)

me: "uuuh."

Customer "How old are you?"

Me: "20"

Customer: "Guess how old i am. no, no wait, don't."

Me: "I'd better not, i'm really horrible at guessing peoples ages."

Customer: "Ah well, i guess i'd better not chat with you to long, you probably have 5 boy friends."

Me: "One, and it's "fiance""

Customer: "Oh well."

Me: "You have a good day sir"

One guy, back at my old store hit on my like this

there are large over head doors that roll up at the lumber end, and once you know the timing it's really easy to pass just under the door as it's going up w/o hitting your head.

so my head passes right under the rising door and this fella, taller than i am ducks under it to my left.

Fella: "That was pretty close to your head there."

Me: "Well you know the timing after a while."

Fella: "So what are you here for?"

Me: "I work here, I'm a cashier."

Fella: "Oh yeah, then maybe you could tell me where the bath room is?"

Me: "I can show you, it's right by the staff room."

So we continue to walk towrads the staff room, this walk only takes like one or two minutes.

fella: "You know, you're pretty hot."

Me: "Oh thanks"

fella: "wanna go out to dinner tonight, when you're done here."

Me :"No thanks, i don't think my fiance would like that."

Fella is silent

we reach the bathroom and i want to go to the staff room, but being the nice, fantastic employee i am (-_-) i ask "Was there anything else you needed?"

fella "No."

me: "Ok, i'm gonna go then"

Fella "We should hook up some time."

Me "No we shouldn't" *walk away*

vanity, I'd run away from work with you for a romantic date
