Ok you dont need an original version of warcraft 3 to do this .... and you do not need the patch either.

Ok goto www.hamachi.cc

and download hamachi .... goto the forums and learn how to use this simple program ... if i fully knew how to use this program i would type up a tutorial here .... but i only downloaded it yesterday..... so happy gaming.

Oh yea and this is freeware and its something caled tunneling .....

Here's the deal ok :

You dont need a real version of war3 either the cd ...it could just be the downloaded version ....

ok this is what my mates and i do :

Someone with a fast internet connection starts a server ....( click the triangle looking thing and goto "create network" ...simple)

ok now that he has the server up .... you people have to turn hamachi on and goto the triangle looking thing and click it then goto "join existing network" type in the server name and the password for it.

Now you should see the people in the server ... the online and also the offline people ....

Ok this is how you start a war3 game ... its just normal have hamachi on .... then goto war3 .... lan game .... then just create ur desired game ....
this program is very very simple ....

Ok heres a question that ur bound to ask me :

"Do you have to have the same versions of war3"

Ok .... yes u do unfortunatley .... cracked "copy and paste" versions of war3 cant be patched .... since they are hacked ..... but installed versions of war3 that have been cracked can be updated ....
