The theories presented by Tzu Men are very well articulated and the points he tried to make are presentible which could very well be true. Whether Naruto ends up being gay or not it doesn't change the fact that it was a damn good theory with manga content proof. And as Vengence mentioned the Japanese comic book culture (and Japan itself for that matter) are more open towards expressing your true self. Its the same reason you see the things you see in Japan like a bunch of high school kids in the open streets just for the hell of it in their cosplay. Same thing applies for homosexuals. And you can see this a lot in their manga and written contents. I don't think that anyone that has presented a valid argument or counter argument in this thread are insecure in their sexuality, they are simply defending their view point as they so rightly can on the interwebz.

All your post have been merely bashing others view points meager response like "dur hur your insecure man, you gay. lulz". Maybe your the homophobic and don't care to admit it.

Again, I cannot really get it out of my imagination: if Naruto is infact gay for Sasuke, then 4Kids will rip out it's hairs trying to cover that up in the anime. If they even try to continue it...

If the manga has them come out, it would have reprecussions, and Japan is NOT a very tolerant nation of all things. Xenophobic, would not be suprised if general homophoby also would be apparent.

That's my concern though, not sure but the naruto caters more to the 6-15 year old. It's not really a deep story, more than a glorified children playbook. So why would they put themes such as homosexuality at this age. And the forumers here are in their 20s, so it's natural to think about these topics.

Well, I would not undervalue Naruto that much. it is alot less complicated than academic literature, that is agiven, but simple can be sophisticated.

I mean, Naruto possibly has the best character development in the shonen genre so far. And the majority of the cast is not there to stare with DULL SUPRISE and slackjawed expressions while shaking like 60 year old Parkinson's victims like in DBZ. Are they still on Namek?

Suprisingly, Naruto being gay....wait a second, hasn't anyone considered he might be bisexual? And what about the fox?
