New Gundam Series

Just checking out wiki for info on Gundam related information when I ran across Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. An anime adaptation of the light novel version is slated to debut in Winter 09. The series is set in the Universal Century timeline, UC 0096, three years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. Not to much is said on the actual story of this series but from the looks of it follows the Gundam tradation; space colonization, war between Earth federation and the opposing organization (which if following the story-line it would be Neo-Zeon/"The Sleeved" force). Should be interesting, will be keeping my eyes peeled for more updates.

Minerva Zabi is one of the main characters and blah blah blah, you already know the plot and all if you've read the summary bout it on wikipedia...

At least it's UC. I just hate all the other universes. And I hope it's not centered around aces and newtypes, I'd really like some standard footsoldier action ala 08th MS.

08th MS was great, it was too short I believe. I'm going to watch the other Gundams that reside in teh UC universe to understand the history better.
