Jean's prediction is kind of unusual this time, but I like that kind of spin on it. Though, I don't know how much Kishi likes Falcon. He hardly writes for them... I wonder what ever happened to Juugo and Suigetsu... (They can't still be held up at the Iron's strong hold)....

I figured having someone like Danzo dead makes him relatively useless however alive Danzo could serve as a secondary wild card villain and sasuke's loss would be the same type of sober wakeup call that naruto had when he lost to sasuke after his fight with orochimaru. As Kishi suggested, this particular fight will have big importance for him later on so how better to use Danzo than to let him live as an inspiration for sasuke to get stronger.

As for suigetsu, I think we all know how to best deal with him. Make him into a drinking fountain for the sand village. Everyone gets plenty of water and suigetsu litterally becomes a part of the village. By the time he reconstitutes he will likely end up going back to jail and becoming a drinking fountain yet again or worse, he can water the plants. As for juugo, give him tons of riddalin, lock him up in a straight jacket, and have him fed via bugs and rats. That kind of diet should turn his body from strong to weak in a matter of days.

Yeah, I kind of think of Danzou as the third party in this war. His alliance to either side might just be for strategic purposes. Though, I also wouldn't put it past Danzou to lay low for a while, like he did during the Pain arc. Danzou wanted to use Konoha's weakened state under Tsunade as fuel for him to rise to power.

I have a feeling a similar case might occur. Kishi can't just off Danzou right now, too much wasted potential.

I'd laugh my ass off it the Samurai restrained Suigetsu and Juugo and forced them to menial labor (A pretty large land mark was destroyed thanks to Sasuke and his antics)... Either work off their depts, or be slaughtered.

What kind of bad guy is for Konoha but against it at the same time? Danzo is the wackiest bad guy, I think he'll be dead long before Madara is, even though Madara... should be dead.

Nahh, Madara is much worse (in terms of character anyway). Though, Danzou still fucked up pretty bad at the summit (what with him being caught and all, and could have potentially put Konoha under fire) however, he is "actually" demonstrating some interesting skills as well as having some able henchmen, so he's actually not looking so pathetic anymore. Mifune actually liked Danzou's proposal however, Danzou's actions proved that he couldn't trust a neutral leader, or put his faith in the hands of the Kages. Without trust and faith, people live in fear. So they gave Danzou the boot.

I wonder how Konoha is going to respond to Danzou's actions. Danzou still has his Root organization and Konoha is still in shambles (in process of recovery). Like it or not, Danzou still has more power (how much at this point is up for debate) than normally assumed. After all, none of his followers got hurt in the strife, they merely hid underground and attempted to over take the village (though I bet he didn't count on Naruto becoming a hero)...

Can you find that chapter were it stated that Uchiha's were known to summon hawks? Because the only Uchiha that's been known to summon any form of birds is Itachi with his crows, and now Sasuke with his random falcon.
