He should have at least been there. Back then hiruzen was still a beast (according to orochimaru's hype). So my point is if minato could stall kyuubi alone then a 4 man team of 2 hokage's and 2 sennin should have been powerful enough to stop the kyuubi.

But I'm getting of track. My original point was to say that Danzo most likely had nothing to do with the kyuubi attacking the village (like some people seem to think) because it wouldn't have benefited him in any way. If danzo were behind it he would have made sure both minato and hiruzen died so he could be the next hokage. There was no sign that danzo was even there much less behind it.

it doesn't matter if they restrain it obviously minato was a expert in seals so that helped restrain the fucker or he could just held on to it while the shit was going beserk wtf would he care he knew he was dying anyway...

but u can't kill something that regenerates fast... no matter how many top ranked shinobi u got the kyuubi cannot be killed that is why its the ultimate demon...

the weaker demons could be put down because obviously they don't posses kyuubi's abilities and strength..

i wouldnt be surprised if danzo offered madara to use kyubii on the village and danzo would not let it happen by keeping root behind...in exchange for taking some sharingans when uchiha eventually becomes suspect

Each of those allies gave him something he wanted.

Hanzo- could have helped him overthrow hiruzen abd become hokage
Orochimaru- Experimented on his body and gave him senju abilities
Madara (uchiha massacre)- He got sharingans, sharingans, and even more sharingans. Did I mention sharingans

So then if he had a hand in the kyuubi attack there must have been something in it for him. The only thing I know of was him hoping minato would die so he could become hokage next. Danzo being the logical minded person he is should have known that hiruzen would be a contender for hokage (again) and should have taken him out. But he didn't do it, he didn't become hokage, and his status in the village somehow diminished around that time. So if danzo was involved what did he gain?

^ root was also nowhere to be seen during the orochimaru invasion, danzo and orochimaru may have made another dirty deal...probs one right that invovles first dna or sharingan arm ...
this also benefits danzo because oro's target was the 3rd

although i wonder why he didnt make an appearance when the third died? was it because of itachi apearing and scaring the shit outta him?

^ now that you mention it how did orochimaru get the 1st's DNA. Seriously don't special bloodlines like his get protected somehow. Being a former hokage he should have been secretly buried where no one should find him.

These last few chapters it seems like orochimaru was danzo's tool, but I'm starting to think maybe they shared an master/apprentice relationship years ago, similar to like what orochimaru and Anko had later. With all the experiments oro was doing in konoha it's possible danzo was helping him. Danzo may have seen oro's experiments as promising. Danzo shouldn't have had any problem sacrificing people even ninja's for oro's experiments. Just the fact that ANBU ninja went missing shows the extent of how far oro would go. Also one of his earliest experiments was trying to implant Senju DNA in people (yamato). With danzo's senju power now it seems he may have been involved then too. I conclude that when oro got found out by hiruzen, danzo realized he couldn't control the situation any longer.

Orochimaru was very a resourceful man, I'm pretty sure he found a scroll somewhere where he found out, or he probably visited the grave of them a few times when he was still close to Tsunade.

ya but isn't his spirit or w/e trapped in the death seal. so if the body came up, it would be empty? maybe oro didn't think it through.... who knows we never got to see inside the coffin so we have no idea. could've been anyone....

Orochimaru is going to be the ultimate villain in this manga.

Fuck Juubi, Madara, Pain and Akatsuki.

Orochimaru+Kabuto = Badass ninja. Kishimoto made it very obvious.

1. Strip Orochimaru from his ninjutsu and other techniques. Remember at the beginning of this manga. Orochimaru was more feared than any villain. Kakashi was more scared of this guy than Pain or Madara for some reason.

2. Removing Orochimaru from plot so Akatsuki can run the show and other villains.

3. Revive Orochimaru through both Sasuke and Kabuto. He makes a cameo through Sasuke, but as you can see he is going to return from Kabuto.

4. Able to take on a Four tailed Kyuubi. With no ninjutsu techniques. (THE snake shedding and Rushumon is not ninjutsu.)

5. Easily taken down by Itachi Uchiha by Susanoo? Get real. That Susanoo techinque can seal anything. However, Itachi Uchiha is a very strong character and i don't think he would win against Orochimaru (with his ninjutsu intact). You'd say Itachi COULD KILL Orochimaru with a glimpse. But you have to remember the guy was trying all sorts of extreme crazy ass experiments to learn different styles of jutsu. Especially forbidden ones. If he wanted to "kill" Itachi. He would of done so. He just wanted a live breathing Uchiha for him to take over.

6. Danzou was Orochimaru's lab rat. Akatsuki was scared to kill him. Orochimaru gave Danzou the upgrades he needed. Why? so Danzou would owe him a favor. Not only that but it seems Orochimaru or Kabuto implanted cells and the Sharingan eyes into his arm and eye socket. But why Orochimaru didn't use the same method? 1. His immortality method would be shorten due to the stress that the sharingan puts on a non-uchiha body perhaps.

7. Orochimaru hasn't GONE ALL OUT like J-man did. Edo-Tensei and a few snake jutsus from a mad scientist that was feared more than Uchiha Madara? Bullshit. Orochimaru is going to come back.

8. He owns his own country. Nuff said. What country does Madara own? Plus if Akatsuki wanted him dead. They could of sent Hidan, Kakuzu, Deidara, Pain, Itachi or Kisame to dispose of him and how long did it took? More than a decade. Why stall for that long? If it took a few days to find Naruto or any other Jinchuuriki.

9. If Orochimaru had Medical ninjutsu he would be harder to defeat. VERY HARD. Just think about it.

10. Orochimaru could of killed any shinobi by giving them the curse seal. 10 percent chance of living. But they would of gone unconscious and he could of dispose of them.
Many shinobi techniques/methods can kill in this manga. But this guy gets a bite out of his target. Their ass is grass.

Orochimaru is a rip off of Cell from DBZ. Not Danzou.

Wait wut? Orochimaru is no ones tool. He proved this by leaving Akatsuki and rebelling against Konoha.

Not like Pain who took orders from Madara
Not like Sasuke who took orders from Madara.

Those are "tools".

itachi can beat orochimaru no problem no matter what oro does..both sasuke and itachi have said your ninjutsu wont work agaisnt these eyes
itachi has shit pwned orochimaru more than ...oro is weak to normal gen..id like to see him take a tsykiomi

oro doesnt really care about jiriaya in past fights im sure oro gave it his best because at that time he didnt leave konoha just yet so he hasnt changed his body therefore no snake hax
whilst jiriaya has hm he never used agaisnt oro

oro is good...but hes not so much different than madara in terms of failure all his plans so far

why is it that oro seem to be weak in genjustu,i mean there are a number of ways to beat a "ridiculously haxed" oh sorry a sharingan user,but oro a super genius after all the researches and experiments could not figure out all the ways a sharingan user cant cast genjustu.
comon kishi didnt write that part well,even deidara gave sasuke more of a tough time.
One more thing can you guys imagine all these sharingan users without sahringan lol i'd say they would be preetty much a bunch of losers lol thats why i consider people like oro,sarutobi,naruto,dei,sasori,naruto,ji raya and BEST OF ALL MINATO(no keke genkai hax) to be the ideal definition of a geniuses.

@silverblade no one knew about pein or madara at the beginning of the manga so there was nothing to be scared of and pein would destroy oro and so would itachi...
I'm not saying hes weak but hes been surpassed by alot of characters and if hes so smart why didnt he just take sasuke or to stop akatsuki kill naruto

Kishi seems to have this twisted, retarded sense of justice of atoning for the weakling Uchihas who were massacred by a kid, by overwhelming the sharingan with abilities that are beyond unbelievably insane...

Makes you wonder what happened to their skill level during the night of the massacre... but its safe to say that it went the way of Kishi's IQ level...
