ok, heres a question to kick things off my man kakashi, since the recent rise in popularity in bleach and naruto and one piece (i notice a striking resemblence between onepiece n fairytail btw) how do you expect this series to fare? i find it quite good battle wise, tho as with any monga is has a tendancy to be repetative as far as battle sequences go. i do find the characters to have well thought out persona, and of course havin the perv leader rounds it off! lol where its headed im not sure, the dragon edge seems very interesting, not much on it, so they get to have wiggle room there. uhm..im a bit concerned as far as the whole "elemental" thing..iron really aint an element to me..dont see how theres an iron dragon slayer. and the 7777 coincidece looks to be leading somewhere but has yet to be explored further. oh yeah and ill add the pages when i find them...how old is natsu?!

It will take a while for the series to warm up to others and become somewhat popular. I don't expect it to get as popular as the One Piece and Naruto. I excluded Bleach because both the anime and manga has become rather....I'm simply not going to mention it. The manga art style somewhat resembles One Piece, my guess is that the artist is a fan of the mangaka and his work but you'll notice that in the anime version the two series are different art wise. Iron as an element you say? Well instances such as these in anime I tend to ignore it because it really isn't worth the effort to try to disprove something as obvious as iron not being an element, plus, it hasn't ruined the story so in short iron is an element (in Fairy Tail that is) and it rocks. Some people speculate that he is 18, too me he looks 16-17ish, but others think that because he is a dragon slayer that the dragon magic slows down his age. This is because dragons live for a long ass time obviously.

The new episode states gildarts has return. From what I've seen from Makarov, Mist Gun, Eliza and the lightning dude that I've forgot his name, this guy should be uber, taking 10-100 years mission. I've only been impresed by Makarov and Mist Gun magic. Eliza is a deadly cosplayer and that lightning dude is like Raiden

what's annoying about mangas like this though is you have a hard time telling what's going on in a fight sometimes because it's black and white and not animated lol

luxus was fake dragon slayer. boo! lol anyway im interested in this new player strength fo sho. but mistgun, so far weve seen sleep magic and some kind of illuson. but how r they guna explain him looking exactly like that other "bad guy" uh name escapes me. o and i had a thought that the dragon magic doesnt slow down the aging proccess but since they have a thousand year old magic in their possesion it makes 'them' just as old?

^The manga series has been going since 2006. Gildarts seems to be like an interesting character, I would like to see more of him in future chapters.
