A while back kakashi was showen to have MS and his ability was Kamui which allows him to teleport objects to another place in time and space. Kishimoto didn't show us that for no reason. The naruto manga has been alot about MS for a long time so kishimoto showed that kakashi had MS for a reason and I believe his MS is gonna play a huge role in this year. Whats everyone's thoughts on this?

Since his fight with Zabuza we haven't seen much of Kakashi in a serious battle where Kishi didn't make him look stupid. Based on his past records and skills he should be pretty high up close to Jiraiya level (at least mid way now with is MS) but non of it has been show solely because Kishi wanted to use Kakashi to make Naruto to look epic. That infuriates me because he is considered a badass in basically all of the Fire Country and other surrounding countries that know him and his abilities. Hopefully Kishi fixes that this year during his claimed Year of Kakashi. It makes me wonder though if this is Kishi's funny way of saying that Kakashi will die? That would suck. I'm not saying all of this from a fanboy biased standpoint but rather objectively. I don't think we've seen everything that Kakashi could potentially do. He is the Copy Ninja Kakashi whom has memorized over 1000 jutsu. If he is to die by the end of the year (just assuming here) it'd better not be by the hands of Sasuke, at least not in his current state. Murder by the hands of a former student could be good move as far as story development is concerned and good motivation for Naruto to decide what to do with Sasuke (if he hasn't decided within the next couple of chapters of his encounter with Sasuke with Kakashi). I want to see how things go this first half of the year and how Kishi had used Kakashi thus far. It might give us an indication as to where Kakashi and the story is headed.

I see what your saying but to me it seems like his MS has to play a role in the events thats gonna unfold. why else would kishimoto show kakashi with MS in a MS based story line then just up and kill him with no use for his MS what so ever. so its imo that kakashi's MS is gonna do something great for the story line.
I just dont see kakashi dieing anytime soon because theres to many lose ends

Yea storywise this is gonna be Kakashi's year. Back in part 1 he was more of a badass when he faced Zabuza and messed with his head because of the sharingan. We really hadn't seen him used it in quite the same way since. Sure the sharingan can alow you to use genjutsu , and the Uchiha uses it for amerterasu and soosano, Kakashi used it to copy moves and so did Sake when he was under his guidance. We haven't seen Kakashi use his own move Chidori the way that sasuke does.. could you imagine what his shape mainpulation would be like.

He has the name out there in the ninja world, Raikage - one of the baddest ninja (a kage) even knows of his name, the Kage sumit recognizes him as the Hokage and that says something. with all this reputatiton Kishi sure has kinda let Kakashi fall off, I think he realized tha and with this chapter hopefully is trying to correct that. It already feels like the old manga again with this meeting of sasuke and Kakakshi. With all this time sure, his students have gotten stronger through traingn but Kakashi has been through traingn seen war and since thy were yong been going on missions seeing other lands runnning into other jutsu. If kishi is smart he'll play all that up for Kakashi this year.

Because you'd pretty much need to do a carpet bombing with H-Bombs to actually kill him. Between his ability to heal, and the invulnerability of Sage Mode and the Bijuu Cloak, he basically laughs in the face of any attempt to kill him.

Yeah Kakashi has seemed a little sub-par lately but remember he basically died and saw his father and had some truths revealed by him. I think he has changed substantially based upon that, and he will surprise almost everyone, he wont be dying soon.... What if he Kamuis Sasuke's face?

Kakashi's performances compared to the hype he has been given is truly a let down. but i guess since it is his year, and he is now a step away from kage-ship, he will live up to his hype. He will not be dying soon. If he does by the end of the year, he will have already shown us awesomeness he deserved to have.

As for the tS inquiry with MS, i guess we will get to see how he gained MS, and what significance would his eyes have in the 4th great ninja war involving sharingan and bijuus. as for now, i can't speculate more.

There's been nothing wrong with Kakashi at all. He hasn't been shown to be weaker at all in combat. He's just been taking a backseat to the main character finally now that he's older. What's the big deal?
