Following edits in anime

Well i was just browsing round the net and I was searching the voice actors for Naruto as a reference when i stumbled on a note on the site. It said information about whats going to be edited. To see for your self go here: http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet.../showid-18558/.

Its all good news and bad news but lets say it aint too bad

It says that Shopro will air Naruto in September, and the first DVD will be released in December. Although the Toonami version will be editted, the DVDs will supposedly be purely uncut. Shopro's reason for putting it on Toonami and not on Adult Swim is to boost the show's popularity.

Things that will be cut out or editted are as follows:

Any blood that flows out of a character (except for when Naruto stabs his hand).
Zaku's exploding joints in episode 40.
Sasuke's throat full of needles in episode 16.
Any cussing.

Things that will not be cut out or editted are as follows:

Naruto stabbing his hand.
The Sexy no Jutsu.
Blood that does not flow out.

Also, all of the ninja moves will keep their original Japanese names! (Such as: Kagebunshin no Jutsu, Sexy no Jutsu, etc.)

It has been confiremed that Spike from Cowboy Bebop will be doing the voice of Kakashi

woot for the jutsus being the same, that was the only thing that really worried me. i can live with editing till i get the uncut dvds. rock out american naruto!

what do u mean not cut sexy no jutsu technically they are probably gonna cover it more with smoke...and why would they not cut naruto stabbing his hand?!?! that has more blood than the sasuke stabbed by the needles...what the point of editing blood? so wat if there is blood? fighting is worse not blood...blood does not make children fight its the fighting on tv that does...this pisses me off they shouldn't even dub naruto if their gonna cover blood and not the fighting

theirs more blood in the hand than the needles but the needles through the neck is more violent/deserbing. they are not editing sexy no justu, no more smoke, just the way it is in the japanese. the link there is pretty reliable. have at least a little faith that they wont screw it up that badly. im just thanking the stars that the justus are the original japanese, that the only thing im worried about.

Wow! That's a helluva lot better than I thought it would be. Kakashi voiced by Spike? ugh, that sounds messed up. Heero and Sasuke is okay. Misty and Sakura is cool too, 'cause they're both annoying. Yeah, I said it. As long as Naruto ain't that Ash fellow. Then, I'd wait for the dvd's to listen to japanese audio. That preview on CN looked pretty cool, though. At least they didn't kill the plot. About Sexy no Jutsu, it has smoke already. They'll probably put bra straps to be safe, though. The jutsu names will be cool staying the same, but the blood editing was a good idea. Sure, we all liked blood in DBZ back in the day, but things are different. And parents nowadays are just itching for a lawsuit. Don't worry. It'll still be good. If that D.N.Angel is still good, and I use that term very lightly, we have nothing to worry about.
