on the same page naruto says
"im not going to protect him" that to me means he isnt going to try and change his mind
also he said to sasuke he would stop lecturing him

suggesting what naruto said on the same page isnt about mentality
also on the same page

kiba said "someone like you can easily ..."
naruto interrupts and says otherwise

kiba was clearly talking about strength
so techniqually naruto must be as well

that to me makes sense

If he kills sasuke and makes him realize the wrong things and sasuke becomes good again even if he sasuke dies naruto would have not failed because he brought his friend back from the darkness..

Thats why when neji asked "what do you mean" naruto said i'll tell you when the time is right".. what is there to tell if he just said he couldn't beat sasuke back then... It doesn't matter if sasuke fans believe this cause this is the truth and i've seen many pp,l mention this too on another forum which is why i was prompted to re read a few arcs.

I only got this after I read the Pain arc again and im 100% sure thats what it means, though it doesn't matter now since sasuke is stronger now with ems..

Naruto could have killed the weakened sasuke but he wouldn't defeat his way of thinking which is what naruto has been wanting to do since part 1.

But like I said sasuke>naruto right now thanks to ems not confirmed but lol im pretty sure thats how it is.

Only commenting on this post. I read up to the post where Myth was talking about a second grade reading level or some shit. Couldn't bother to read the whole thread, since most of you aren't very smart. And that's putting it nicely.

I actually happen to be a pro at reading comprehension. So I'll explain to all of you what was said in the chapter regarding this business. There is a thing called context, by the way. Look it up.

Here we go: That gay guy with the long hair and white eyes was all like "If sasuke already wasted his energy fighting like a fuckload of dudes, why didn't you finish him there, pussy naruto?"

Sakura chick was like "Yo, don't be a dick, gay white eye guy. They had that dude with one eye there. And everyone with one functioning eye is a total badass. Chill, man."

Then the guy that fucks dogs is all like "WTF? Naruto you're so awesome and shit lololol. Sasuke wouldn't have stood a chance against you! <3"

And now here is the important part, kiddies, so pay attention. Naruto, responding to what dog fucker was saying, says "No, you are wrong (dog fucker). I couldn't defeat sasuke at his current level."

He told dog fucker that he was wrong. Dog fucker was implying that naruto is some sort of badass who should easily be able to beat sasuke. So that means that he was saying dog fucker was wrong about naruto being able to beat sasuke. The end. Easy shit. Lrn2comprehend. Goddamn.

As for the "I'll tell you when the time is right" thing. Naruto said "I just knew..."

They're all like "what's that mean?" And that is when naruto said that shit. If someone everyone thinks is a badass just says "I wouldn't be able to win" against an extremely weakened opponent without an reason why other than "I just knew." Yeah, that might prompt people to ask for a more in-depth explanation. Common sense.

Naruto is directly responding, out loud, to people talking about how he should have kicked sasuke's ass. He said dog fucker was wrong, and all dog fucker was talking about was kicking sasuke's ass. Not any of that gay shit Myth was trying to sell. Don't be toolbags.

I love how you boast about your intelligence and sheer reading comprehension prowess. Here's a thought: Kiba said "You're the hero who defeated PAIN!" You know how Naruto ended up truly "beating" Pain? By making Nagato change his mind. You know what this topic is about? The possibility that Naruto knows that he can't change Sasuke's mind, and that is what Naruto was implying with his statement. That's all there fucking is to it. You also completely ignore the context that Naruto was trying to keep the other people in the Konoha 11 from trying to beat Sasuke, because he thinks that he has to do it alone. Doesn't that imply in the least that he may have been, oh I don't know, lying? Again, me at least, I'm not saying that "Yes, this is the case", I'm saying "there's a possibility that this is the case." The possibility is there. You're really good at "comprehending" things the way you want to understand them, and ignoring logical connections and subtext, that's your "professional ability" in reading comprehension.

Yes. That's why I posted. Because there isn't any evidence, at this point and time, to support those claims. If you knew anything about debating or intelligent discussion, then you'd know that those claims cannot be supported with the information currently known. Myth wasn't saying "This is purely speculation, if you guys think otherwise then it's totally cool too." His second post in this thread clearly illustrates that he thinks that is what naruto definitely meant, and if one thinks otherwise then they're wrong. He could also easily mean that he doesn't want them fighting sasuke because sasuke made it pretty clear that he'll fucking kill people, and those guys suck ass compared to sasuke. So they'd, you know, die and shit. Which makes just as much sense.

And mocking my reading comprehension and logic skills really makes you look stupid, because I'm fairly sure I said somewhere in my post that I'm going on the currently known and stated information, or something like that. Meaning I acknowledge the possibility that the information could change or new information could become available which could make things different. But as of right now, based on the context of the discussion that happened in the manga, my original post is the most logical conclusion to draw.
