^Either it's something canon that I have no recollection of its source, or it's from the anime and it's been so damn long since I heard it that I can't remember the source. I don't make shit up, and if I did, I'd probably know it.

Either way, we've seen that the Kyuubi's chakra burns. Clearly, it's got some kinda serious "fire-power" (I had to do it).

Besides, Amaterasu would be hitting the Kyuubi's chakra no matter what Jink form, not Naruto himself. All he'd have to do is turn off the chakra flow to that area (which he knows how to do), and the Amaterasu would burn itself out.

Does this mean from what naruto got from itachi he could possibly learn fire jutsu. That is if the kyuubi is willing to help naruto.
