Strikeforce Overeem vs. Werdum on tonight fellas. The last of the quarter finals will be decided tonight.

Obviously I'll be rooting for Ubereem to smash Werdum's head in, so he can move to the next bracket and turn Bigfoot Silva's oversized jaw into gravel with an Uberknee. Not that I have anything against those two personally, but in my sick mind it will somehow avenge Fedor's last two losses. That and I'm an Overeem fan.

Josh Barnett vs. Brett Rogers. Don't really care one way or the other who wins, just as long as Sergei Kharitonov blasts the winner with a Russian-paratrooper-punch from the motherland. It would set up a great rubber match between Sergei and Reem, both of whom have ko losses to one another, in fact I think Sergei knocked Reem halfway out of the ring last time they met.

I'd be perfectly happy with Reem winning the tourney, but I'd really like to see Sergei win. Just because I think he's an often overlooked guy from the Pride era, who never really got his due glory. I just dunno if Sergei's striking can compare to Overeem, who has since transformed into Ubereem.

Overeem Werdum battle meh. I just hate when jujitsu guys can't do takedowns and always do that unmanly guard pulling shit. Just a personal battling pet-peeve of mine. Also hope Reem destroys Silva. Fucking Ogre.

Masvidal noons fight was good though. Missed all the other fights though because of fucking work. = /

The thing is both guys were scared of each other. If Werdum would've kept it standing and take more than 3 Reem shots he could've been stunned, if Reem would have made a Fedor and jumped to guard he would've been subbed.

Props to Reem to keeping his head a few times Werdum faked getting knocked down. Werdum though come on man you don't beg for that shit, if you want him on the ground you take him to the ground.


Monson vs Cormier was kinda entertaining, Monson reminds me a bit of Jardine, he sure can take a punch and Cormier should go to 205, he's fast but I'm not that hyped for him.

Barnett is awesome, the next stage of the tourney is gonna be interesting pretty much high level now.
