Talking about hair, Kushina's hair in that "special chakra" panel looks a lot like Kyuubi's tails, so there's a point to back up Kushina=Former Jinchuuriki (for a Juubi characteristic impressed in the Jinchuuriki). Not that I like the idea, it's just Kishi royally screwing a female character once again. Seriously, females in this manga have such potential but are used sooner or later as plot trump cards and are rarely developed after being "used"... just ask Tenten, Ino, Yuugao, Kurenai, Hinata, Konan, Tsunade, Mei, Karin, etc. Geez, can't Kushina be a little different?

I just hope these next chapters elucidates us more on the Kyuubi attack on Konoha.

As much as it was necessary to have a mother-son moment(much like Minato's, but with more background since Kushina had about none), I feel like it really breaks the battle, we can tell Kishi is stretching it out to reach 500 and have Naruto control the Kyuubi(or maybe not, but something drastic will happen concerning the Kyuubi and Naruto).

but now with his mom in the scene there is no doubt
