You were not extremely nice. You were telling him to keep doing something he was no longer interested in because you thought it was a good idea. He stated he was going to do it already, its not like he was asking what you thought.

Just because you lived in NYC doesn't mean you aren't sheltered. I lived in a trailer park next to a prison.

Did you take that time off because you wanted to study economics? Or did you decide to do so because of the job. According to your logic, switching now because you found something more interesting is a waste of time.

And just to clarify, how old are you? Really, like, a number. Being vague isn't cute.

That is what you get when you press the quote button.

4. Breaking up a quote

Now that you know how quotes work it all boils down to preference, how you want it to look like and how you want to do it.

One way of doing it is copying the latter part of the original quote [*/QUOTE] and then pasting it after each section you break up, write your reply, choose the text you want then paste it after that portion, repeat till you finish the go back and copy then paste the first part of the text at the beginning of each portion of text. Of course you can immediately copy and paste both parts of a poste so that you dont forget one in the end.

The end result would be something like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is
[*QUOTE#] to get [*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] (of course with the * removed)


Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

How can you possibly think that studying Psychology before Physics precludes you from a job at NASA? Did you stop reading my post where you cut off quoting it? One guy studied Liberal Arts before getting his engineering degree, which is arguably less relevant to the sciences than Psychology.

a semester at his college is under 5k i believe he stated. improving space travel is that out there. you would have to be extremely smart and probably studied astrophysics for a long time improve on what is arleady known. iwas extremely nice about it, all i did was say this is my advice on your situation and he responded by being an asshole. his asshole response eventually lead to me being brutally honest and im not sheltered i live in nyc, im not in some little town. i took a little over a year to get some experience in a bank which is hardly a waste of time in my opinion since i will be declaring my major in economics next semester and i aslo made connections withing the banking world.
Bolded is possibly the most idiotic pseudo-intellectual statement I have ever read in the entirety of my life. Here's how it really works:

Studying something for a long time improves your knowledge of what is already known, not your ability to improve upon it. Conventional thinking in any field is exactly how you accomplish absolutely nothing. How the fuck do you think science progresses? It is certainly not by continuing to believe that the universe is Geocentric, the planets are on Celestial Spheres, there are four elements and electricity is a fluid.

They're finishing this season and then ending it on Syfy. Right now they're in the final 10 episodes, which is not nearly enough to actually finish the plot that's been established since Rush found that code. Not sure if MGM is going to continue it on another network, but I'm hoping they do.
