Purple01 with all honesty I must say that you are a bit ignorant on those matters but, its part of life so I hope you grow up from that experience to never do it again. As my suggestion look for info about everything you are curious about, remember knowledge is power. Use books, or google info about everything(and don't read from just one place). Also listen to the therapist even if you think it doesn't do shit because well you'll remember about it someday.

That said not all drugs are addictive, its all in how strong minded is the subject. I think that you are not strong minded if you didn't even recognize the signs of addiction.The bad thing about those type of drugs(heroin coke mostly synthesized stuff) is that people keep increasing the dose because they already done it so much that in order for it to have effect(instead of just stopping for a while) they want more, that's when it's dangerous and sadly becomes addiction. So to whoever gave them to you don't talk to that person in a long time and cool down on the party hard routine.

It's a set of various chemical compounds that, when exposed to different species, causes mutations in the genetic structures of fetuses. ACt gave the example of growing a second head, which can happen with exposure to a tertogenic compound. You probably don't know it, being so young, but Agent Orange was considered a teratogenic compound that caused a crapload of birth defects following its use in Vietnam.

Edit: Before anyone asks, these compounds do NOT give a person superpowers like from X-Men.

Just to add, in adults it can give ye olde cancer and it's main use in laboratories is just to induce the subject species to open their DNA chains to integrate whatever piece of foreign DNA we want to implement.
