Surely the complexity of the costume has to have some impact upon how we judge Batman to be a furfag or not?

I mean he is meant to be dressing up as a bat but he hardly ever looks like one, he just looks like a man with pointy ears and a big cape. Is a ridiculous female animu fanatic wearing cat ears or a playboy bunny a furry? I suppose that you could argue that it just makes him a rubbish furry, which isn't really any better than being a 'good' one. It's just as embarrassing. If Batman isn't dressing up as a bat to yiff, and he doesn't really dress up like one anyway though it does make it hard to judge...

Well, he calls himself batman and is definitely going for the bat look there. The intent is there. Whether he successfully pulls it off or not is irrelevant, I would think. Also, I might be wrong, but I think he uses his cape like bat wings to glide around with.

Now, I think we can all admit that aspect of him is pretty goddamn gay. If any one of us suddenly got super powers we wouldn't likely adopt an animal-man persona and be all srs business about it. Because that is just fucked up. I mean, come on.

Ruthlessly hunting down criminals using fear and intimidation for great justice, that's awesome. The bat thing, not so much. Maybe they don't have furries in Gotham City, so he would have no clue about the social taboo associated with dressing like a goddamn animal. And in super hero land, you gotta have a super hero identity. So he just picked batman because he already had a bat cave and shit. I dunno.

I actually saw that episode recently, Mibs. It was just a simulation to frame that cat chick as a traitor by some Ape with a giant brain, who was the actual traitor and freed Batman and helped to defeat Luthor and some other rabble.

And be honest, since the Nolan movies, Batman is badass. Unlike Superman and the other gay superheros like Captain America et cetera.
