Manga publishers have recently changed their stance on manga scanlations and made it clear that they no longer approve of it. We have decided to abide by their wishes, and remove all manga content (regardless of licensing status) from the site. The removal of content will happen gradually (so you can at least finish some of the outstanding reading you have), but we expect all content to be gone by early next week (RIP OM July '10).

So what next? We're not really sure at this point, but we have some ideas we would like to try out. Until then, the One Manga forums will remain active and we encourage all of you to continue using them. OMF has developed into a great community and it would be a shame to see that disappear.

You can also show us some love in this moment of sadness by 'liking' our brand new Facebook page. It would be nice to see just how many of you came to enjoy our 'better than peanut butter and jelly' invention.


Regardless of whether you stay with us or not, on behalf of the One Manga team, I would like to thank you all for your unwavering support over the years. Through the ups and downs you have stuck with us, and that is what kept us going.

What am I gonna do know? I have a huge my manga list, with 30+ ongoing, and a lot that are on my to read list.


Anybody know of another site where you can make something like the my manga list like on onemanga

4. Breaking up a quote

Now that you know how quotes work it all boils down to preference, how you want it to look like and how you want to do it.

One way of doing it is copying the latter part of the original quote [*/QUOTE] and then pasting it after each section you break up, write your reply, choose the text you want then paste it after that portion, repeat till you finish the go back and copy then paste the first part of the text at the beginning of each portion of text. Of course you can immediately copy and paste both parts of a poste so that you dont forget one in the end.

The end result would be something like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is

Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

@stub - this moring was the 1st time i've used mangastream to read bleach/naruto... so it seem like a good site to me

i only use shokan, to read Gantz ONLY, but there tons more good manga site out there and i thoroughly agree with ya ITS A FUCKING CRYING shame to see onemanga go

well I didn't ask for a manga site, but a manga site that can let me make my own reading list. And you are pretty late with mangastream, everybody here uses it.

But what's weird is that in Mangafox, Mangatosken, and some other manga sites aren't really doing the same thing as onemanga but their actually removing some manga's.

Shit is F-up to the core.

Publishers are gonna lose a lot of fans this way. I know I would pissed off since here in the UK its shit hard to find manga in shops and even harder online due to the fact UK translations are like 4 volumes behind the Japanese releases.
