Re: Inception

it was a great movie, but i kept thinking to myself, was all of the levels and danger worth the final goal. it just seemed not like an important enough reason to go through all of that.

also the ending was a nice little twist

Re: Inception

Saw it, excellent movie I love mindfuck type movies. Got a question about opinions here to those that saw the movie.

Do you think the ending was real?

I am thinking three possible endings to interpret:

1. It was a dream Cobb(DiCaprio) made himself on the plane, a dream that felt too real.

2. He is in limbo, the totem while not spinning perfectly didn't stop spinning. Also the kids are in the same position as always with the same clothes. His father greets him in the airport (How did he know?). There is much conclusion that this could be the real(while not ending in real life) ending

3. The totem not spinning perfect means its not a dream and everything happened perfectly. He was the last to wake up meaning he (and probably Saito) were 10 years in a dream. And the kids don't have any other types of clothes and don't grow much(or not much timespan has happened since he left them).

Someone please debate me with this.

I think that the totem, not spinning perfectly, shws that he has awaken from the dream state, and everything that occurred was in fact real-life, though you're right there are a few loose lines such as

the kids clothes and position

his father meeting him at airport, although they last met in french, since he wasn't allow back in the country.

Re: Inception

I don't know... some people claim to hear the totem falling when the credits starts... I guess I'll wait for it to come to blu ray and watching it without the people going "BAWWWW" at the end.

It's whats great(rages me) about this movie, there are too many possible endings.

Are you seriously that retarded? How did you understand any of it if you didn't understand the most basic concept?

There is no debate. We're not supposed to know one way or the other.
