Marching Band?

Would you consider marching band a sport? I would. I mean, you go out there in the heat, march in perfect formation, play an instrument, keep in step, AND watch the feild commander at the same time. and plus, band ppl get lettermans jackets. aren't those only for ppl who are in a sport (in school)? but it's not as easy as it seems, either. i think it'd be awesome to get someone like a football player (not dissin' football. i luv football) out there and march in one of our spots. i think that'd be so funny. .....-.o well...actually, we had a first chair-kicker, who marched the half time show even....he pretty hot, too.....anyway! what'cha think?

I wouldn't really call marching band a sport. I mean you can't really play marching band. It's more to do with music than athletics. Marching band is really cool though....I like watching their performances with the formations, synchornizations and stuff.

I wouldn't call it a sport.... But wouldn't it be cool if it was?! I love band, and if it was a sport, then I'd be an athelete! It would be cool, though.

well, i think it shoud be called a sport, but i am a major band geek though, lol, I love band!!!! and I wish it was a sport, well, at my school they put marching band under athletics, but with that we also have to take P.E, which im not to thrilled for though, but im glad our school thinks of it as a sport!!!
