If it is the case that Tobi and Madara are indeed the same person (which I believe they are)............hasn't there been good indication that Zetsu wasn't aware of it? I looked up chapter 280 and at the end I believe the communication between Madara and Zetsu is a good indicator that he wasn't aware and likewise there have been other interactions between them that would indicate the same...................which if it were the case (that he wasn't aware they were the same person) and providing they actually are.........it would have to mean Madara's regrowth abilities weren't linked to Zetsu at all, right?........and that they wouldn't have been together as far back as the fight with the 4th Hokage.

..........now maybe Im somewhat confused on these points, so if anyone could clarify I would appreciate it. Thanks

The "stfu Tobi" arc was all fake. Zetsu's hostile behavior towards the "happy tobi" was part of the plot, even if it didn't make sense to us. It was to fool the readers. There's your answer.


EDIT: This is my point of view of it ofcourse. Still, makes sense.

~Tobi can't grow new body parts. He lets Zetsu grow them for him. So far, we've only seen him replace his arm with Zetsu "flesh".
